Citroen - French Pioneer Cars
The Citroen automotive company was founded in France in 1919 and became the first in the world by the company that had a serial output of the car (besides North American autocompany). In the same year, the production of cars, inexpensive and unpretentious, but in many ways innovative for their era was launched. For example, the Type A models released in 1919 were installed light and an electric starter, and the Traction Avant model of 1934 became one of the first front-wheel drive cars running into mass production. Today, the company's headquarters is located in Paris, and since 1976 herself is part of the concern, which also owns Peugeot trademark.
