Founded in 1933, the Japanese highway company Nissan today occupies one of the first places in the world ranking of large automakers. From 2011, the main office is located in Yokohama. The company's own models of auto enterprise is engaged not so long ago (since the 1980s), for some time it specialized in the assembly of Datsun cars. Plants owned by the company are located in more than 20 countries of the world. Since 1981, the trading mark works closely with the German concern Volkswagen, and since 1999, more than 40% of the company's shares switched to the French company Renault.
