I am to the fact that now the period, which I call the Tuning time, will begin, when the car begins to reconfigure, in order, as they say, to bring it to mind. And here, it seems to me, there is something to talk about, and there is something to fear.
Take such an innovation as a complete steering wheel drive (the so -called 4WAS system). It is offered in the form of an option, and this, in my opinion, is a very verified decision. The fact that Nissan has adopted this idea is only evidence of the high technical potential of the company. In other words, they all declare to all that in principle much is possible. Now the word is for those who are developing technological schemes. After all, it is at this stage of creating a new machine that it becomes possible to fill the design form with such a specific content that the real machine becomes noticeably better, or more precisely, it will advance beyond its laboratory prototype. What can come of it in the end? I don’t know, we'll see.
The problem, it seems to me, is that there is no clearly verified concept, that the Skyline GT car should be and how it should differ from the GT-R series machine. It seems to me that there is no intelligible answer to this question. And if so, then it is unlikely that anyone can guess what to focus on and what to expect from this series.
There is, however, the opinion that the Skyline GT-R series cars should be considered as the Japanese analogue of the BMW MW Model Row, but in this case it is quite possible to expect that the Skyline GT model should reach the BMW 320 or BMW 530 level, that is, to become Such a rear -wheel drive sedan with a sports slope that will stand on a par with a conventional BMW. I would like to believe it. And then the role of the sedan for household needs can then be completely repaired by another brainchild of the company - the Nissan Teana car, which is more adapted for this, if only because it has a front wheel drive. In fact, you need to be a realist: the only advantage that, if you think, can use the Nissan company in a dispute with BMW is the opportunity to put a bunch of an athlete and the Sedan of the householder on the game field, that is, a machine that would be more oriented On household trips.

The car that was provided to me for testing is a car of the highest category, which is designated as 350GT TYPE SP. When you sit in this chair, the seat is unexpectedly firm, and then I want to move back a little, and nowhere else does the back allow. The head restraints are not so well located, at least I decided for myself that they are not too suitable for me. The gearbox is too much bulging inside the cabin and looks too massive and takes up too much space. But the salon does not seem too spacious. True, it should be borne in mind that drivers often like this, I would say, crowded, which is characteristic, first of all, for rear -wheel drive cars, so to say that a clear minus that is outstanding in the salon would be an exaggeration.

The rear seat, frankly, could be made a little wider. And then it’s even strange: a car with such a large intersective distance, a body with 4 doors, and the rear seats are so unpretentious. The pillows seem thick and take up too much space, which is why the rear passengers have nowhere to put their knees. Moreover, if someone wants to stretch his legs, then he is unlikely to succeed, since the socks of his legs under the front seats cannot be hidden. In the same way, you do not walk too much on the top floor too much - the head almost rests on the ceiling. And yet, when you are sitting, it seems that the back is leaned back too much, so I won’t be surprised if the rear passenger after a long journey will not have a very fresh appearance from a reclining position. The point, however, is not only that the back has the wrong slope. Another drawback is shaking too much at the back, and I don’t know what to do with it! If this is the GT salon, it is quite reasonable to expect that the shocks that go from below should somehow extinguish. And it turns out that the passenger shakes from side to side. What a vacation here! Yes, and getting out of the car when you sit from behind, is not as simple, however, as well as sitting on the back seat. Is it really an inevitable fee for increased body rigidity?

The trunk can hardly be called large, but the minimum acceptable volume was still provided to him. But then the lid itself, when you raise it, can stand almost vertically, which makes the trunk very convenient for loading and unloading things. Due to the large size of the rear lights, the opening of the trunk cover in the rear panel also does not differ in a large width. And, in addition, there is no grid in the trunk where it would be possible to lay small weights.

In a word, the steering makes the impression of a rather rudely adjusted device, so a lot of unnecessary movements are required, you need to spend a lot of extra strength to finally get the desired result. At the wheel, it shakes noticeably, you constantly have to adapt to the car to stay evenly, and all this, of course, does not allow you to concentrate on the road completely.
