Audi Q7 more than a comfortable car
For 6 years, the SUV flagship Q7 Audi has been exciting the consciousness of luxury lovers with its dynamics, efficiency, functionality, comfort and, of course, status.
We decided to try on q7 and look at the world from the windows of the crossover in a new way. The Audi representative office kindly provided us with one of the most interesting variations of the car, an economical and powerful car equipped with a 4.2-liter turbodiesel, a famous Quattro drive and an additional S-line option.

Moving along the city streets on another car, you never attach much importance to the size of the Audi Q7: there is just a large car, they fly past us every day
 
But, having received the keys from the dream and approaching the crossover, I began to realize its size and advantages: dark blue color in combination with 20-inch discs on five knitting needles favorably distinguishes you from the entire flow of loaded Moscow.
 
Sitting in the salon, as if you are a strict, expensive, comfortable, which partially resembles a sports car in another world. A set of settings at the driver's seat indicates a comfortable movement over long distances, which, in fact, we will check during our test.
 
After I got used to the interior of the car, the question arose - how can I wake up, that is, to start the engine of this diesel monster?
 
The developers provide a choice between classics and contemporary art: start a motor according to a classic scheme using a key or by clicking on the Start English button. I choose the latter and press the brake pedal and the engine start button itself. Short -term vibration went on the body, he woke up! We should pay tribute to excellent sound insulation of the cabin and the motor compartment after starting the engine to the people sitting in the cabin, a barely audible rumble is heard.
 
Having adjusted the huge side-view mirrors, I translate the selector to the Drive position and, only letting go of the brake pedal, I feel how a frantic torque of 750 Neton-meters pull the car forward.
 
Despite the dimensions of the car five meters in length and two meters wide, you manage to get used to Q7 in just ten minutes of movement. And immediately there is a desire to feel the pleasure of accelerating the diesel engine and disperse the car to maximum speed.
 
Let's hit the road? We go to nature
 
Having got out of the city jungle, we get on the regional road to experience one of the strengths of Audi. By choosing a comfortable speed mode, you begin to feel how our Q7 switches to the regime of the King of Autobans!
 
A kilometer per kilometer, hundreds of kilometers over the next hundred flying along our roads, not a hundred miles, after leaving the car you do not feel with a squeezed lemon - there are no stiff legs and arms, and all the travels and pits passed without consequences. Here it is, the merit of comfortable seats and the work of the suspension, absorbing and smoothing all the charms and surprises of our roads
 
The next day, we decided to see how convenient for travel to nature and in the conditions of light off -road. Having drove up to the exit from the highway, we switch to Off Road mode, which is also present in the multifunctional MMI interface. The car begins to slowly rise up above the brave earth, quietly millet, so the work of the air suspension is heard. Everything, ready, go to conquer the slides and ravines with comfort.
 
200 millimeters of clearance in off-road mode allow you to overcome the barriers that arise before you without problems. If this height is not enough with a light movement of the finger to switch to the position of the elevator, on which the machine rises even higher by 20 mm! Light off -road in the form of ravines, puddles and loose soil does not notice and rides without hesitation. Electronics is always on a check and helps the driver not get stuck at the wrong time. However, do not forget that this is not a combat UAZ or 4x4 Niva to overcome special scales in Siberia, but a representative car, where one wheeled disk is like the above Niva ..
 
Sensations from acquaintance with Audi Q7
 
During our acquaintance with the Audi Q7, we overcame a little more than a thousand kilometers. The average consumption was 11.3 liters of diesel fuel per 100 kilometers, in mixed mode.
 
Fuel consumption is acceptable, given the weight of the car, an additional load in the person of our team and a periodic desire to walk the entire herd hidden under the hood.
 
The work of electronic systems is on top! No hints of loss of control over the situation.
 
Thinking about the Audi Q7 I come to the conclusion that there is something to strive for ...
