So what happened.

The car stood exactly under the eye of the security television cameras in the courtyard of one of the Russian federal services. Naturally, we had concluded any protection agreement, everything was held on a honest word and 50 RE, transferred from hand to hand. Naturally, there was no film in the television camera, and no one saw anything. The sad result is a dispersed door, a broken ignition lock and a stolen instrument panel. Dipinging the details of our ordeals with the tow truck (see the heading of the navigator in this number), let's summarize some results.
+ The car was not stolen. It turns out that it was not for nothing that we saved at least $ 400 on the installation of an additional security system - the full -time coped with its function. In fairness, it is worth noting that the car saved the immobilizer: the hijackers managed to suppress the siren, but they could not go around the floating code of the system. We put ourselves a stake in discipline vigilance: we need to think where you leave the car.
- They stole the instrument panel along with the controller. Gentlemen, the hijackers, you can safely throw the panel - it is impossible to adapt it to another car! Another thing is that it is possible to restore the car to the true owner only with the manufacturer. It is the central warehouse and only from the sanction of the official dealer gives a new panel and new codes to the key. The procedure is stretched over time and is surrounded by a mass of formalities - Audi is worried that the systematically important control element falls into the hands of specialists of the Commissioner of the Technical Center. But here the way out was found: Ingosstrakh, where our car is insured, gave a sanction to deliver spare parts accelerated by mail. Repair was made for quite acceptable terms - 16 days.
+ While they were waiting for spare parts, the North was installed on the Audi Center for the North and the trunk. Later, we were convinced how well we coped with the Alload towing - we can’t judge about the house on wheels or the ocean yacht, but we had no problems with the ATV on the trailer. We believe that the same thing will be with a snowmobile or water engine. The only inconvenience - when manipulating with the trailer, I had to turn off the sound sensor of the parking lot: he really took out his squeak.
