We were preparing for this event especially carefully. Still, it was possible to test our Allroad under the extreme conditions of a one -day assault rally organized by the Moscow representative office of Audi. The organizers guaranteed high -speed sections and off -road. According to the regulations of the competition, we even retrained the Audi into the studded rubber 215/65 R16 Pirelli Winter. The pleasure is expensive: the organizers of the rally - the Quattro school - had to organize new discs for us. Alas, during the race, the spikes were more likely to bother us. In mid -November, there was no snow yet, and night frosts intended for mud and sand on off -road specialists. With sharp rebuilding from a row in a row at high speed (all the rally!), The back was thrown from side to side. In addition, the vaunted Pirelli Winter was very noisy and only loud music saved on the highway.
 
The rally ended two days before the first serious snowfall. On Sunday, November 18, in the early morning, one of us needed to go to Dmitrov. The highway of the same name resembled this very remotely: four stripes turned into two directions, in which gazelle and kamazy dragged at a speed of 45 km/h. Along the way, we counted the four products of the domestic automobile industry, helplessly lying in a ditch.
On that day, we forgave Allroad and Pirelli all the last sins: that on new discs and rubber the car became noisy and not as maneuverable as before, that fuel consumption has increased, that the dynamics are no longer the same. Without exaggeration, we felt like a torpedo boat among clumsy tankers. Honestly, we have not met a lot of stationery, SUVs and representative machines that can keep such a road at a speed of 100 km/h.
(+) With frost (minus 8), which is required for a comfortable heating of the cabin is no more than 5 minutes. They will leave just to shift the snow from the hood and roof.
 
(-) Alas, we have no such necessary thing for a car with several pilots, as a memory for a driver's seat and steering wheel. They are not included in the standard equipment, but to reconfigure at least five positions in their own way - a tedious occupation.
 
(+) Exorbitant appetites of a tank with non -freezing liquid (with a nearby automatic, the headlights are sprayed and sprayed) are compensated by a comfortable ride: bixenon shines remarkably.
(-) The parking system system in dirty and snowy weather can start fooling: constantly squealing, warning of a non-existent obstacle. You have to get out of the car and wipe the sensors with a rag.
