Audi Allroad 2.5 TDI turned out to be faster than at the beginning
 
I repent, it was a mistake: a young colleague who helped prepare the first from the series of notes about the Audi Allroad, confused one diesel engine with another, depriving the car of 17 horses and 60 nm of torque. It is partly apologized only by the fact that both engines have the same volume, and both are installed on this model. So everything that was said in previous publications (AI No. 9 (55) and 11 (57) is the true truth, with the exception of subjective sensations from the dynamics. These feelings made me start another report on editing trials with restoration justice.
 
Almost a second is a lot
 
If you, dear reader, will say that 0.9 seconds in accelerated dynamics are a trifle, and that it is impossible to feel the difference, do not believe. As much as possible! So, for example, I have already told, and with undisguised admiration, about the swiftness of Alload with a diesel engine, I could not get rid of thought - something is wrong here. Because the declared 10.4 s to hundreds - well, did not fit with what you really feel with powerful throws forward, with a sense of constant superiority on the road. As if the car itself with his behavior day a day persistently told me: do not be too lazy - check the numbers! Be, finally, objective! I believed - and for sure: the time of acceleration to 100 km/h takes 9.5 seconds. Now everything fell into place.
 
Once again I am convinced that personal feelings should be trusted no less than technical descriptions. So, one cannot fail to notice that after the first thousand kilometers of run (now about 7 thousand), the engine began to work quieter (I did not add a gram of oil), and the fuel consumption was slightly reduced, although it was already small. On direct, amazing softness and smoothness appeared. This does not mean that Alload began to unnecessarily roll on the turns - no, he still copes with any turns, clearly following the given path, but the general feeling of comfort was noticeably intensified. There is nothing to be surprised here, however: all the details, nodes and mechanisms, as they say, were lost, the car began to demonstrate its best qualities. Therefore, it seemed to me somewhat unexpected that appeared shortly after 6 thousand on the scoreboard in the center of the instrument panel, notifying the need to call on the service after 2500 kilometers. But in this case, the on -board computer knows better. It remains for me to wait and find out why the car requested a service station. The reminder of this, by the way, appears every time when starting the engine, and soon disappears.
 
In the salon, at home
 
In previous publications, carried away by the story of the Audi Allroad pneumatic suspension and running qualities, I ignored the decoration and equipment of the salon. And he did it intentionally: it was necessary to properly sit in a car in order to evaluate all this. For four months I made many discoveries, my attitude to the interior evolved. Suppose, at the beginning of my acquaintance with this particular equipment, I was indifferent to a leather combined decoration. Now I came to the conclusion that she suits me, perhaps, more than other options. The combination of strict black alcantra on the sidewalls of the seats and the delicate gray PerlnAppa, dotted with round holes that remove excessive moisture and heat, creates an additional sensation of heat and comfort. It's like a good carpet on the parquet floor in the living room.
 
In general, this equipment combines luxury with economy. The wealth of decoration is emphasized by noble wooden inserts on the front panel and sidewalls of the doors. The front seats are equipped with a heating system, but have only one electrical regulation - in height, all the rest are mechanical. The steering wheel is also regulated mechanically in height and in departure, but in fairly wide ranges. The Audi Concert musical system with four speakers and a subwoofer, covered with a decorative panel on a microlyphone, sounds excellent, but does not have control buttons on the steering wheel. And the on -board computer cannot be controlled using the keyboard lever, as in other versions. But there are xenon headlights, fog -tunes, electro -regulated side mirrors with heating, immobilizer, a convenient armrest with a drawer under the right hand of the driver, front and side airbags, etc. - That is, the car has everything you need, and even more than that. But the equipment is still far from maximum.
 
Separately, I must say about the effective system of separate climate control. The current is not the most weather summer, when the cool days are replaced by stuffy, and the cloudless sky suddenly delayed in clouds and the downpour begins, I have never had to increase the degree of blowing of the frontal or lateral glasses. In automatic mode, the system perfectly copes with the task of maintaining a certain temperature in the cabin and does not even allow a hint of fogging, ventilating the salon in time. The maintenance of the microclimate is also facilitated by the heat -protective glazing, at the same time providing good sound insulation: with closed windows, the surrounding world reminds of itself only in a whisper.
 
Functional business class
 
Like any real business class car, Alload provides a very decent level of comfort with rear passengers. At their disposal, ventilation deflectors, allowing you to regulate the direction and intensity of air flows, a cigarette lighter and an ashtray, two cup holders traveling on microlyffs from the middle seat and a wide leap armrest. Finally, the most important thing: the back of the legs and above their heads is quite enough, so that the passengers do not feel fatigue on the long journey.
 
As for the functionality, the Audi Allroad seems to be superior in this indicator of many competitors. Firstly, the car has a huge number of containers: two-section reclining niches in all doors, drawers under the front seats, a spacious glove box and, finally, the trunk. The volume of the luggage compartment varies between 455 - 1590 liters. Moreover, if you fold the rear seats, the owner receives an even cargo platform. It is convenient to fix the luggage with a special grid and rigging loops. The baggage will hide the advanced curtain from curious glances.
 
In such a configuration, Audi Allroad costs $ 58 128. With a close acquaintance with the car, the price does not seem to be overpriced.
