Comments:

An additional score was credited to the car, which means that now the overall result is 34 points. This score brought an alarm about the unexpontinued driver’s seat belt. The car body turned out to be very strong and provided passengers with good protection. With a lateral blow, not a single score was lost, and with the frontal - only one.

Frontal blow:

Front airbags are inflated in two stages, which provides greater pressure with more rigid collisions. A durable body and the lack of shift of the steering column provided the driver at a high level. His safety belt was equipped with double pretense, who, together with the load limiters, prevented the knees against the torpedo and protected his lower legs. The deepening for the legs stood well with the blow, besides, it was surrounded by overlays to protect the legs. The central place of the back row of seats is equipped with a three -point belt that provides much better protection compared to waist.

Safety of passenger children:

A warning about the danger of installing a children's chair opposite the airbag is made in accordance with the requirements of Euro NCAP. However, stickers with appropriate warnings can easily output. For the children's chair, Renault Kiddy Easyfix used fasteners in seats. The eldest child was placed in a chair “in the direction of movement”, and in the upper part of this holding device a strap was found, attaching it to the back of the seat. With the frontal blow of the chair, a good result was shown, but with lateral - the heads were in danger.

Side blow:

The protection system when hitting the side included side airbags and curtains that protect the riders of both rows. In this category, the car has earned the maximum number of points.

Pedestrian safety:

There were no significant improvements in ensuring the safety of pedestrians that passengers are safe. The front part of the car is very traumatic, however, some areas of the hood surface ensured the mitigation of the blow.
