It is believed that large cars are more difficult to drive compact. May be! But this situation does not apply to a rather big Touran. That's why he is a CD. The driver, who even lowered the chair as much as possible, sits on a certain elevation. The front dimensions are clearly visible to him, and thanks to the side mirrors and rear glass, it is also provided and excellent backward view.
 

The chassis is not at all in Minivan. If such a word exists, and I did not invent it, it should mean strong rolls in corners and when rebuilding, clutch when hit in the brake and a belated reaction of the chassis to the actions of the steering mechanism.

  

This is not about Touran. A perfectly damping suspension not only does not allow swing from side to side, but also quickly reacts to each degree of changes in the position of the steering wheel. Surprisingly, the chassis turned out to be much more driver than one could expect. The family car is clearly predisposed to dynamic driving, and setting up the chassis is not the only indicator of this.
 

Another argument of the engine. Maximum power 140 liters. with. Two engines have this indicator: a two -liter turbodiesel and the latest gasoline unit with a volume of only 1.4 liters! The impressive characteristics of the latter are explained by the direct injection of fuel, associated with a sequentially located compressor and a turbocharger.

The habit of properly switching transmission will be replaced by a good automatic gearbox. The transmission in Touran is even cooler: a pair of 2.0 TDI is perhaps the best of the serial automatic transmissions Direct Shift Gearbox or DSG. When necessary, it switches the programs unnoticed and smoothly, and when the speed is above comfort is sharply and significantly. But it always does it faster than the eyelid covers the human eye.

  

For the surcharge of Touran, you can equip the assistance system in parking. When you are approaching a possible parking lot, Park Assist system sensors analyze the availability of free places.
