Suzuki Aerio (Liana) Sedan 2001 - 2007 sedan
Muzzle and tail
I sit behind the wheel and suddenly understand: something is not that. The landing is vertical, the torpedo goes far forward, and the lateral glass begins much lower than I am used to. I raise my head: a high ceiling. Are I in compactwane? But, turning around, I see a shelf under the rear windshield sedan?! Where am I?Liana Sedan puts an avalanche of unusual sensations on a person at the wheel. The architecture of the body was the fruit of the creativity of ergonomists: the machine was built around the cabin, which is perceived unusually large for a car of such sizes. As a result, an unusual appearance and all of the above sensations. And this despite the fact that the Liana is based on the mechanic of the predecessor of Suzuki Baleno.
The front of the sedan has all the attributes of the classic minivan: this is a short sloping hood and small triangles in the front racks. But the feed of the machine is very unexpected: as opposed to the Minivan nasal part, a pronounced stepped sedanism is observed from behind.
I must say that such solutions modern automakers are more than actively recalling Citroen C5 and the latest Toyota Corolla. Tall cars with short muzzles and long tails are now in fashion. And there is no secret meaning here. All these machines are united by the fact that such a layout is inflated by a huge amount of air into the salon from the inside, they seem much more than outside. It turns out that both the salon is unexpectedly spacious, and the layout is classic, three -binding.
A separate trunk, which contains the whole highlight of the novelty, looks very roomy and with convenient access inward, and the backs of the rear seats, like the clashes, allow you to increase its size, capturing part of the cabin.
You feel free inside Liana. The low waist line of the windows, coupled with a high landing, ensure good overview and do maneuvering in a dense city stream by learning. The only amendment: the relatively peppy 1.6-liter motor is strangled by an automatic checkpoint, which becomes even more obvious when the machine is completely loaded. In addition, it is worth making an amendment for mechanical losses in all -wheel drive transmission.
So what is Suzuki Liana Sedan? Our answer: a typical city car is both compact and roomy at the same time. The sedan may be less practical than the station wagon, but he has a separate trunk, so beloved by our compatriots. This car is unusual and at the same time traditional. And, most importantly, one of the most inexpensive in the cohort of all -wheel drive.
The car was provided by Suzuki-Neva.
