And not yours at all: if you please poke in the depths of consciousness, weighing logical and reasonable pros and against in search of a practical principle. But this car is a slap in the face of all common and correct arguments with conclusions! Because calculating the tribe is unrealistic. It can either be completely stolen and grabbed, or completely rejected and turn away from it with a decisive one: like, I don’t like it, I don’t want and I will not. The average is not given, arithmetic too. And what do you order me to do?

Tribeca is going to the United States exclusively for the needs of the domestic market and was, in theory, in isolation: deliveries to Europe were not provided. However, Tribeca is in Russia, and in the salons of official dealers. How so? And so: sales of us in overseas Subaru are exclusively dealers themselves. Hence the miles with gallons and Fahrenheites. Get used to it. Hence the warranty conditions for a year or one hundred thousand kilometers. It will be not enough. It is quite appropriate to recall competitors, the main of which is seen by the Lexus RX300: three years of guarantees are a very serious argument. By the way, there is also a car with a more than peculiar appearance.
 

And what can the tribe contrast Lexus? Subarevich has a symmetrical all -wheel drive and bright interior design. The materials, of course, are not premium: the plastic torpedo is not soft, but only beautiful. But a lot of silver is very Subarovsky!

 

But will there be truly Subarovsky reliability, which were always famous for cars produced in Japan? As far as we know, the American assembly is not good for those who are not the benefit of Lexus the one in the Russian market are also inhabited by other Japanese-Americans who perform in the same class with B9 the same gray Nissan Murano (which, however, should soon begin to suppose quite officially) and Infinity FX 35. The latter is more blank, but also more expensive. And all these cars, including the official Lexus, have too non -trivial appearance. Moreover, in my opinion, only Infinity can definitely be called a really beautiful car.

 

But Subaru makes them all in passenger capacity only he can be equipped with the third series of seats. True, how much these seats are adults, we could not check our triber in a more affordable five -seater version.
 

It seems to me that the Americanity does not go to the tribe. At least in Europe, which is accustomed to other Subaru, more refined. And this car, for all its pretentiousness, is still rustic. For America, it is, and for everyone. We have an amateur.

The charismatic brand of Subaru, without any doubt, occupies a special place in history and in our time. Being the property of the powerful Fuji Heavy Industries concern, it seems to be kept apart, however, it is not very far behind the vanguard of the world automotive industry. This brand is extremely practical, but in technical terms there are quite conservative machines. Indeed, for many years, the Subaru cult has been based on two commandments of the opposition motor and a symmetrical all -wheel drive. And these commandments are worshiped implicitly, almost blindly.

 

Outback, Forester and Turbo-Impreza. Here are three icons personifying the brand. The Subarovites are eager to add to them the fourth, B9 Tribeca. I don’t know, I don’t know Impreza, and Outback, and the Forester car is sincere, honest. Original and self -sufficient, having a lot of fans, among which there are even militant fanatics. Each of them was born as experimental, each has gone a long way of evolution. These are pioneers who led others. Now Subaru is walking along the trodden path. Tribeca is nothing more than a purely commercial project, an attempt to earn on their own reputation and pathological traction of Americans to everything big.

  

For all the wisdom of its design, Tribeca fits perfectly into the line of sugary-puncture SUVs, like Nissan Murano, Infinity FX and Lexus RX. Both conceptually and visually. In truth, on the go, Tribeca is not very different from competitors-classmates. A lightweight steering wheel, however, feedback, suspension with a good supply of energy intensity, excellent brakes, nevertheless. An elastic motor, a thoughtful accelerator, a thoughtful automatic machine, best operating in manual mode. But the revelations should not be waiting: the magical Subarovsk formula works here with a creak. Yes, the six -cylinder boxer promises a decrease in the center of the masses, but this does not give special bonuses to the tall SUV. The benefits of the equal distribution of torque along the axes in the standard modes are not much noticeable again due to the decent height of the body into Tribeca's turns is included with the lazy and roll, so there is no talk of any sports drive.

  

You can feel the difference only on the primer by turning off the stabilization system and taking control of the gearbox on yourself. In such conditions, the machine continues to behave almost as stable and reliable as on dry asphalt. The light demolition of the anterior axis as the gas is added smoothly replaced by lateral gliding, which, as you know, is optimally in terms of active safety. But for the sake of skidding you will have to try. And this is also a plus.

 

Subaru B9 Tribeca is a product of the latest era, when the typification of consumer road qualities displays the expressiveness of the design and the attractiveness of the brand to the first roles. From this point of view, the prospects of the car look brilliant.
