In the end, in many ways for this, they give a lot of money for such all -terrain vehicles. However, do not forget that some of them at least at first glance seem to be all -terrain vehicles, in fact only high station wagons. Differences in the little things, but significant.

The facets of originality
Call the appearance of a boring language does not turn! Both cars are noticeable and peculiar. Nissan-murano is not only faster, more elegant, but also more fun. The face of the Subaru-B9 tribeca is excessively seriously, if not gloomy and frightened. Everything else is for an amateur.
Inside the tribe is quite harmonious. Perhaps for someone's taste, expensive skin would be better combined with wood, not plastic. Nevertheless, the instrument panel and the console resembling an expensive, but mass household electronics, and not the father’s radio made of light wood, look more logical in such a car.
In Nissan, a combination of devices, mounted as if by a bypass technology in an airfield in front of a windshield, is very simple, too plastic. The architecture of the panel is akin to the children's designer no matter how fantasize, everything is some kind of angular and fake. Such devices and climate control units look especially strange against the background of solid skin.
But how nice that the Murano chair is helpful, it is worth taking the key from the castle! The front is a little more spacious in Nissan, and the back is great in both cars. That's just the rear sofa pillow in the tribe is low, but its parts move independently of each other.
Maybe all these are trifles, but for cars this class is important. Having paid the car more than 50 thousand dollars, you get the right to be picky. Say, the scope of Nissan’s driver’s seat is good only in certain conditions.

Fast and dense
Pleasant, comfortably leaning back in a leather chair, doesn’t there be relaxed in a leisurely city stream? Right! In Russia, a stream stands (that is, in fact it is not a stream) or suddenly randomly rushes about the roadway (and not always!) Part. You can’t relax for a minute. It is worth starting to pass the turns on Nissan, not at all in an aggressive style, just try to steer faster, as you soon feel: a comfortable, but slippery and shapeless chair barely holds the body. The fidget quickly tires, and you again choose a measured ride.
Murano is soft and comfortable if you go at a good pace on a good road. And having retired from Moscow, fifty miles, on an empty, provoking high -speed, the car seems to give up in front of numerous, diverse in shape and depth grooves and fossa. Murano begins to swing and even swim a little along the road. The suspension suddenly works almost to the limit with a clang, and under the wheels it is not the largest irregularity. It’s not worth it! Of course, it is very far from critical behavior, but it spoils the impression.
Subaru is more collected, firmly knocked down. The suspension, like a thoroughbred passenger car, dense to puckling reacts stoically. At the same time, the car does not show dental properties. The ride is comfortable as far as the Russian highway is allowed.
But in the catch -ups, Nissan is a clear leader. Going on it for Subaru is much easier than the opposite. You can’t call a tribe slow, but it reacts very calmly to the gas pedal, even if the gearbox is in sport mode. Nissan accelerates rapidly and easily, just manage to look at the speedometer! Thanks to excellent sound insulation, subjective sensations do not coincide with real speed. In my opinion, it makes no sense to exercise in the switching of six virtual transmissions of Nissan's bean transmission. Where is it more dynamic?
The brakes are canceled by both machines. You don’t think about how all this works: by the way, there is no criterion for evaluating any unit or device.
In terms of controllability, Nissan-Murano is well balanced, but a little American. Rooting reactions are not so calm, but more calm than we would like. The rolls are not frightening, but noticeable. Murano largely resembles a front -wheel drive machine, which is essentially a significant part of life. The rear wheels are connected when the electronics considers it necessary.
Tribec is armed with constant all -wheel drive. The capabilities of the machine will be fully appreciated by those who know what Subaru is with all leading wheels. A tall car even a little unexpectedly clearly and quickly reacts impaired, confidently holds on the trajectory, and in skillful hands it is well controlled in sliding. In general, the tribe, maybe a little heavy, but a dense, harmonious car.
To overcome difficult areas on Murano, click the 4x4 Lock button. The moment will be distributed between the axes in a ratio of 50:50. But the driver does not experience a special desire to experiment in the mud, especially on the off-road, the driver of Nissan does not experience: the clearance is only 155 mm, and under the elements of the exhaust system, in the database. Under the front subframe is a little more than 160 mm, but there is no engine protection. Subaru has been prepared better. The clearance is 192 mm, under the engine plastic protection against dirt. Not bad ... But in such a large, spacious body there was only a place for a dock. Nissan has a normal wheel in the trunk: he is another plus.

We will decompose and weigh
In the basic configuration of the Subaru-B9 tribeca for more than two thousand dollars more than Nissan-Murano. The test car pulls and at all 63 thousand with a dump. The difference was the price of the DVD player and the rear view chamber projecting the image on the dashboard. (By the way, these devices sold in the store in general for small money, after installation in the car, are significantly added in price why?)
In general, the triber is slightly more well knocked down and obedient. But Nissan’s remarkable briefness, I recall his lightness in acceleration, having long parted with the car. And Murano's appearance impresses me more. However, to invade this, the most subjective sphere of assessments is an ungrateful thing ...
