The new Impreza changes old loyal fans to those who do not care with the door of their Subaru or not. The new buyer should be attracted by a more European design, the same all -wheel drive and price that makes a car with a cult name relatively affordable.

Before us is a classic case when the dreams of fans are crashed on the plans of calculating marketers. The new Impreza is an excursion into the past: when she and Lancer went to the nostril in the nostril in pursuit of her buyer. However, in recent years, the Subaru golf class has remained in Russia unattainable for most of our compatriots by a sports car while the budget versions of Lancer have won the market.

When it comes to the design of the new Subaru, even its apologists begin to think thoughtfully about the fact that, they say, they do not argue about tastes and their connoisseurs should have a new look. I agree: if you find recognizable features in the Impreza style, then far from worst design samples like BMW 1-series or Mazda3 come up. And personally, I even like the LED rear optics and the barred loopholes of the tumor.
  

Changes in the interior are exclusively in marketing goals. To fight for the client as a city (read mass) car for each day, the new Impreza was simply obliged to become more solid and comfortable. Well, the Subaru salon is not inferior to modern representatives of the golf class, but in this case this is not a compliment, if you look at the price of the machine. The quality of fitting interior details is at a high level, but the materials could be more expensive. The doorways have become wider, so now it is not easier to climb inside. But the price of this, you see, is not God the news of what achievement was too high: the frames appeared at the Impreza door! You imagine: Subaru and the framework !!!
 

The new Subaru Impreza, like the previous one, allows, passing the turn, not to remove the leg from the right pedal. The drivers of front -wheel drive cars do not understand this: when in the apex of the turn the stern begins to be demolished, it is worth just giving more, and the rear outer wheel assigned the car to the turn, narrowing the trajectory. The heart of any fan of motorsport begins to fight much more often when it comes to Subaru Impreza engines. But the car fell on the test completely different, it was not dispersed by a modest 1.5 liter four -cylinder atmospheric engine with a capacity of 107 hp/6.000 rpm. This engine loves the speed of maximum power produces at 6200 rpm. With real champions, he is related only to the classic opposition structure for Subaru.
