This one retained and increasingly lived the dignity of the ancestor. And with a new appearance, he has every chance to expand the circle of fans.
With identity, however, not everything is so smooth. For example, the side line of windows, stamping above the door handles and a small spoiler of the fifth door resemble design solutions used on the BMW X3. But there is nothing repulsive in this: the reputation of the competitor from the Higher League is positive, so this similarity will not cause negativity among customers. Rather, on the contrary, many people like it. But the traditional glasses of traditional glasses without a framework sincerely sorry. How spectacular panoramic glazing looked at previous versions! The racks expanding at the expense of this, the side overview is slightly conceived, but this nuance is quite compensated by large burdocks of external mirrors. But the 230 -horsepower Forester already clearly fits into the turns, not bending the situation with excessive rolls, and demonstrates good stability. This contributes to the best of sensitive steering with the gur and a variable force that does not bother with excessive acuteness during maneuvering, but at the same time provides a clear connection with the wheels. Ensure in a sluggish flow of machines or to overtake.
The turbocharged engine develops a maximum torque of 320 nm at 2800 min-1. By the way, in the previous version of the model, the same Newtonhometers were reached 400 revolutions later. Up to 100 km/h, the car with a rather quick and tactful 4-speed automatic accelerates in 7.9 s. Worthy? So yes, but, judging by technical data, the ancestor gained a hundred by 0.3 seconds faster (we strangled them). However, these fractions of a second is impossible to feel without special equipment. And in fact, the Forester accelerates evenly and assertively, with an almost invisible turboy.
Finally, a few words about the cost of the model, which, naturally, has significantly increased taking into account all positive changes. The forester went up by several tens of thousands of rubles.
