Over time, a number of issues have accumulated a number of issues of creators and users who were resolved during the planned update. As it happened, we evaluated changes not in Russia, but abroad this time in Hungary.

Before evaluating the quality of Hungarian roads through the prism of an updated car, you need to systematize knowledge about it a little. So, what is ready to please the updated Forester?

You should not particularly spread about appearance. Here everything is clear. The authors were enough only for a light retouching image in the part of the false radiator lattice, which is not so bad. This is not to say that the car was a terrible or terrible way lost in the crowd. Therefore, externally Forester remained himself.

Like inside. There are only small additions to the separate climate control unit, new fluorescent devices and a small screen of the audio system in an entry-level car. More innovations were not discovered by the usual modern corporate style of Subaru. The front panel will go on, and strictly oak plastic. There is nothing to add. But with the technical filling of the forester, they worked significantly.

Even when the first cars appeared, various journalists immediately spoke out in the spirit that, they say, Forester lost his face, became amorphous, no control. Moreover, special attention was paid to this state of affairs with us, in Russia. For a certain time, the new chassis was rolled up in the vastness of our country. And then it turned out to be so successful that it was these settings that were on a new car and are offered for all markets without exception.

Hod was brought in a comprehensive manner. Here, not only conquered over the calibration of springs and shock absorbers. In the front suspension, for example, the lower lever was modified, the design of the reptile stability stabilizer was revised. Plus, the angles of the installation of the wheels were reconfigured.

Well, really, Forester went differently. His suspension can be called even harsh! Shocks decently. But the rolls with clicks and squats also disappeared like a class. In general, the Russian fitness did not pass in vain chassis and really pumped up. By the way, in Hungary is full of roads of murdered quality. And the suspension does not graze on them. He practices well, although he shakes the riders a little. The steering wheel is light enough, especially in the near -Stolium zone, but over time you begin to grope feedback, and it is enough. Well, the Subarovites will not have to blush for the running qualities of a forester. The huntsman has now become an athlete.

But much larger metamorphoses occurred with atmospheric boxers. The motors have changed so much that, according to the Japanese, they have the right to be called completely new and reveal their appearance a new chapter in the history of the Subarovsk motor building. Loud statement! After all, it may seem to someone in a completely natural way that this is just the evolution of the old engine. It is much more important for us to evaluate the results of the work done.

The boxer became much cleaner than before, which was one of the priority tasks, because the previous oppositions fit poorly into modern environmental requirements. This was achieved due to the new design of the piston and connecting rod, which led to lengthening the course of the first with unchanged overall sizes of the motor. Also, the layout of the valve system, the mechanism of its drive to the design of the cylinder unit, was changed. All this, in addition to taking care of the ecology, contributed to an increase in torque at medium speeds, and also led to the better steepness of the motor.

A new compact combustion chamber and adjustable intake work for the benefit of the environment. An important contribution to increasing the reliability of the motor will undoubtedly be a compact gas distribution mechanism and does not require maintenance. In general, the manufacturer claims that friction losses in the new motor are reduced by 28 percent!

Of course, it could not do without upgrading the cooling system. The result of this process was the use of separate circuits for the cylinder unit and block heads. If earlier the antifreeze was sent sequentially to the cylinder block and to the head of the block, now both there and there. This allows you to cool the head more efficiently and increases the limit of detonation, which is the key to the best combustion of the mixture.

At the same time, the two-liter motor as it was and remained 150-horsepower, and the increase in the moment is more than a modest plus 2 nm (a 2.5-liter engine added 6 nm with unchanged power). Why did the garden are fascinated? As already mentioned, for the sake of ecology and effectiveness. The motor is easier to spin, consumes less fuel and throws less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere! Great? Yes! But where is the qualitative jerk, where is the new level that would allow this power unit to name the new generation engine?

The Japanese speak sensations. Moreover, they make a remark, they say, on a 2.5-liter machine to feel that the engine is new, it will be much easier. It is a pity that for the test we were provided with two -liter cars, with mechanics and automatic.

And the numbers say the following. With almost identical characteristics, a machine with a new engine accelerates to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds, while it used to be 11. The new two -liter Forester became much more dynamic in motion. So, for overclocking from 100 km/h to 150 it spends 0.8 seconds less. Efficiency. By the way, the 2.5-liter car has an even more obvious win. See for yourself. 0-100 km/h 9.2 versus 10.4, 100-150 km/h 15.6 versus 19.1!

But what are these numbers to us, sensations are important. Does the two -liter Fork go or not go? You know, with two adults on board and two suitcases, in a wide autobahn and urban conditions, it seems that it is completely traveling. Acceleration seems to be enough, although the car accelerates is still strained.

You clearly begin to understand that a minimum of a 2.5-liter engine is needed here when you find yourself on a suburban winding two-prolosk, where you need to overtake on the oncoming lane. Often you have to go under an inflame from the fifth to the third and twist the motor into a ringing. And still overtaking must be predicted. It can be assumed that if on such a car with a family and luggage to the country, then about overtaking, you probably will have to forget. But this is on the mechanics! There is also a version with a machine gun.

What can be said about an automatic two -liter Forester? For example, the fact that the programs are long (on the second you can easily leave for 130 km/h), and, accordingly, the dynamics suffers to an even greater extent. Although when you go in a calm city stream, you do not feel damage. Nevertheless, the question of a five -speed (at least five -speed) machine for entry -level machines begs. But there is no need to wait for an answer to him yet. The update did not affect the gearbox.

But there is good news for lovers of the line of charged Forester. In the very near future a forester will appear called S Edition. S, as it should be understood, refers to the word Sport. A special suspension, discs, a motor are installed on the car, like Impreza WRX, 262-horsepower, turbocharged. Gearbox is a five -speed machine. The insignia is found inside. These are sports chairs from leather and alcantara with a proprietary logo, metal pedals, a three -spoke leather steering wheel with steering wheel switches.

It costs the most expensive pseudo-sports Forester 1 676 500 rubles! Well, the cheapest version, two -liter with mechanics, can be purchased for 1,037,000 rubles. As for restyling, it seems to us that he solved the problems of this car only partially. There is a field for work. This applies to both the salon and gearboxes. But with regard to engines and suspension, here now a much more attractive picture is observed here.
