Sometimes even the most unthinkable combinations of diesel coupe, front -wheel drive Mikroven, or the army SUV produced for several decades, is all in complete harmony with the ideology of the brand. This is the unique Mercedes.
 
So this car is a combination of incongruous. Think about it: a business class car with a modest diesel engine, but in a rich configuration for almost 70,000 euros! Say: not logical? But these are Mercedes, which means that everything is right. The incredible once again becomes obvious.

  

You can talk about the relationship between the Mercedes and diesel fuel for a long time, especially since Daimler-Benz became the first manufacturer to install diesel on a serial passenger car. Over the years, the expression in itself the diesel Mercedes has become a synonym for something overnight and unknown sort of time out of time.
 
Well, we join the eternal and we. The least powerful e-klasse modification with a 150-horsepower diesel diesel diesel engine came to us. The abbreviation of CDI means that the engine is equipped with a direct fuel injection system of Common Rail.
 
Outside, diesel gives itself a specific chatter, which is also heard in the cabin, but to a much less noise and vibration isolation is made at a very high level.
 
The fact of the presence of an automatic box does not add optimism about the dynamics of acceleration. But the machine is modern, five -speed, with an adaptive algorithm of work, in addition, it allows you to choose programs manually and, in addition, has a winter mode. The latter we need tea, not a month on the street.
 
I take my words back! Diesel horses are much stronger than gasoline: with a completely recessed accelerator pedal, the car begins a smooth, but very confident, assertive acceleration. Moments of switching from one gear to another are practically neither felt either by the ear or the vestibular apparatus. Only the arrow of the tachometer will fall into several divisions down and again begins its rise. And Mercedes is gaining and gaining a move and now we are already flying in the left row, moving almost twice as fast as the traffic flow.
 
Diesel is stunningly burdened! If you need to sharply increase the speed, it is enough just to press the gas and the car literally jumps forward. The most interesting thing is that this happens within the same program: diesel Mercedes does not want to waste time on a long dialogue with a box, and in an orderly order gives out the right torque without any switching to lower gears.

  

And now on the worthy background that creates the engine, the equipment that accompanies the machine is completely correct. Here are just some of the most interesting positions: anatomical driver's seat with all unthinkable electrical adjustments like pneumatic changes in the degree of lateral support; Heating of the steering wheel; anti -theft system with towing protection; Bixenon lighting technology and a very serious Hi-Fi audio system Logic7 from Harman/Kardon.
 
Here he is, this diesel Mercedes. It seems to be strange, but at the same time amazingly correct no less correct than all other Mercedes. True, it is much more economical and at the same time reliable: from the point of view of the resource and fuel consumption, it is already halfway to the perpetuum mobile.
