Well, now it really is. The new C-Class and really became more solid. Moreover, this is not only about the interior, but also about the exterior of the car. However ... we don’t know how you are, but we like the basic, halogen front optics than bixenon. Visually, it makes the car even more solid. Indeed, in general, the new aluminum hood, and another form of the front and rear bumper, and the revised radiator grille, and the rear LED lights all this added weight to the public's eyes. But the narrow LED strip of turning indicator in the lower part of the headlight block looks somehow, well, it is not from here. But the Russian buyer will have to be content with this particular option for the execution of the anterior optics, because the bixenon is included in the package of a special series. It is good at least that it implies not only a set of expensive options, without which Mercedes, according to marketers, is not Mercedes in Russia, but also an enlarged clearance with the protection of the crankcase.

However, back to the interior. Now Abramovich can reproach him with cheapness. Once behind the wheel, you again begin to adequately perceive the three -beam star on the steering wheel and the perspective of the hood. Absolutely everything changed in the interior, from the instrument panel that received a two -stage visor to the sheathing of the rear doors. However, the dominant is still a new steering wheel that migrated to the CLS chain, and a new instrument shield. The latter gives the interior special dynamism. In addition, it is also convenient in the perception of information. It is nice to note that the car communicates with the driver in Russian. And he has something to tell him: starting with the instant fuel consumption and ending with a warning about the loss of tire pressure.

Do not assume that updates affected only interior and appearance. A considerable emphasis in the development of the car was made both on safety and on efficiency. Moreover, the latter in no way affects power, it is even increased.

All engines, without exception, now have direct injection and turbocharged, whether it is a gasoline or diesel version. We took a car with a 1.8-liter, 184-horsepower engine on a test drive. The middle peasant according to the characteristics of the three proposed in -line fours. And I must say, how the car straightens out with space and time, we were satisfied. Unless the sound of the exhaust system seemed not too noble. But what a pickup, you just have to drown the pedal! The maximum torque of this engine is already available at 1800 min-1, and the seven-speed automatic KP so gently and adequately switches the gears that when acceleration, it seems as if under the hood is not an internal combustion engine, but an electric motor from a trolley bus.

The new C-Class and auxiliary systems was significantly enriched. There are ten of them in total, but in our opinion the most popular are adaptive control of the head light, the system of control of dead zones and adaptive cruise control. As for security systems, they, as before, have this car on top. How quite high is the price. But now it's Mercedes again

Our opinion
The updated Mercedes-Benz C-Class outwardly changed as much as I wanted, but the interior of the car has undergone very serious metamorphoses, and I must say that it was done as well as possible. Now there is nothing to blame for this car and nothing.
