But I already drove a kilometer or two along the tight winding streets and so far I have not found the desired passion. Ordinary golf-class hatchback. Moreover, if you evaluate the car from the point of view of a family person, it turns out that there are enough disadvantages.

The front is comfortable, with good lateral support of the chair. We tried to significantly increase the speed limit on which the driver can feel relaxed, says Hitonori Wada, one of the suspension specialists. By the way, it was he who proposed to equip the rear multi -link with an additional stabilizer. Compared to Ford, there are more rigid springs and differently configured shock absorbers. The solution is simple, but, it seems to me, thanks to him, the car received perhaps the best handling in the class.

Once again, I quickly pull out the Mazda gas out of the bend, I notice small rolls, bully reactions. Vada succeeded. The symbiosis of such a suspension, a 150-horsepower engine, competently selected and to the best of the active steering wheel amplifier, really allows, without straining, to control the machine at high speed and not experience difficulties. And what about elasticity?

Ahead of a protracted rise. I specifically reduce speed to 50 km/h and force the car to drive in the fifth gear. It turns out that with all the ease of recruitment, the motor does not stew from such bullying. Even on the rise, he strives to accelerate the car.

With American generosity

The minimum price of a 105-horsepower sedan is $ 16,600, $ 100 hatchback is more expensive. You can add air conditioning for the basic equipment (ABS, 6 pillows, electric windows and heated mirrors) for $ 600. More generous modifications in the equipment of touring-1,6 (climate control, on-board computer, fog lights, leather steering wheel, gearbox levers and manual brakes, audio system, heating the front seats, 16-inch discs from a light alloy) will cost $ 18,600 and $ 18 800, respectively. In wooden Japanese dwellings, all sounds are clearly heard even through the walls. But specifically for Europeans, we tried to separate the salon of the car with a deaf impregnable wall, noticed Tanioka-san already mentioned by me at the presentation of the car. What can I say: they wanted the best, yes, apparently, it did not work out.

Oddly enough, the only salvation for the driver was by no means for passengers. No, it didn’t become quieter. I just had to represent himself as a racer living in the constantly frantic rhythm of sports tracks. And at five to six thousand revolutions, I again and again enjoyed the most powerful sound of the bass ginger of the motor. 130, 140, braking, turning and again a surge of emotions. Are you ready to live like that? Decide for yourself. To feel all the charms of Japanese treshka, the temperament, good equipment, expressive appearance, a very stylish high -quality interior is not so much on current standards: from $ 16,700 to $ 23,250. Only one advice: in winter, no matter how the dealer persuades, do not even look closely studded tires.

Better yet, spend money on additional sound insulation. This machine gives more emotions so much.

We'll have to be patient

Due to the lack of a single importer, Russian dealers of Mazda do not adhere to the same prices. For example, the difference in sellers of Moscow and St. Petersburg can reach $ 1.52 thousand.
