Although the total number of Mazda 3 points was sufficient for the award of five stars, the frontal impact result did not correspond to the EURO NCAP criteria for such an assessment. Some elements of the torpedo are dangerous for the hips of the front sediments. The worst estimate for the protection of the knees, the hips and the pelvis received the leader's left foot, and this result was taken into account when determining the final rating.

Security of passenger children:

Front passenger airbag switch can be additionally purchased from Mazda dealers. EURO NCAP experts did not assess the reliability of such a switch and the quality of informing the driver about the status of the pillow. With an active safety pillow, it is impossible to install the safety chair "against the direction of movement" to the front passenger. The presence of a chairs installation is not properly indicated using the ISOFIX fasteners system on the rear seats.
