Obviously, the Koreans want to imagine Sonata a new generation not as a simple and large car, but as a prestigious car for solid consumers. True, they could not do without some borrowings, if not frank plagiarism: it hurts the novelty similar to Toyota Windom/Lexus ES330 MCV30. Probably, the bestseller Camry does not give the Koreans rest, and they want to distract as many buyers as possible from this model.
The salon has a hodgepodge: here is Honda, Mitsubishi, and Chevrolet, Subaru, and Volvo, and even Lexus. And surprisingly, together everything looks harmonious, profitable and rich! The decoration materials are quite decent, the ergonomics are normal, however, the front seats are imperfect (but it is very pleasant to sit at the back, the spaces are in abundance).
The accelerated dynamics are adequate, but nothing more (by the way, there will be no V6 from this generation under the hood, but a powerful one will appear under 300 hp, otherwise how to argue with Camry? Turbotor). The controllability is acceptable: the car holds well at high speed and turns into turns normally (not Honda Integra Type R, but taking into account the tasks, behaves with dignity).

There is no alternative to the model: Sonata is available only in the form of a sedan (however, as always).
