And acceptable from all points of view: so that packages with products from the supermarket were where to stuff, and children in their chairs in the back sofa lived freely, but at the same time with the parking lot in the scored cars, as if barrel herds, the city center did not occur . And how will you go to a meeting with my girlfriends, so three circles around the cafe have to pass, while the parking place is retained. They are already moving to the dessert, and I still ride in addition to this car, of course, I should just like to be as comfortable as possible, well, and satisfy our family budget. It is small, but even on those 550 thousand, which I set itself in the form of a maximum plank, in the first approximation among the greedy automakers there was a good ten contenders.

After sitting in the evening on the Internet, reading feedback and having heard girlfriends and friends, in the second round I selected three models.


Chevrolet Aveo. Price: 514 940 p.
Selected: due to attractive prices, sufficiently good external data and urgent recommendations of a friend.


Shevi got into my narrow list primarily under the influence of a friend, which rides on it for almost a year and, in general, everyone is pleased. But the taste and color, as you know, does not happen comrades, so I try on this blue jumpsuit on my figure. Externally, a machine, though without delight, but quite nothing! The salon is neutral enough, but I liked the design of the central console. Someone will say that it looks rustic. But for me the simpler, the better. Handling, on the contrary, disappointed. The steering wheel is not the most dense, but at the same time sufficiently heavy: the amplifier could be both more effective. Shevi's power is in principle enough, although the 4-speed automatic can sometimes seem to be too thoughtful.

A tiny trunk also does not add points to its piggy bank: it will have to dangle to the store almost every day. Not found critical reflection in the internal dimensions Aveo compactness pleases: In the largest megalopolis of Europe, extra centimeters of the car's length are sometimes turned around for us, girls, big problems. But in the case of Aveo, this does not mean that it is easy to park on it. The most attractive price, of course, seduces, but the mediocre visibility and tiny non-informative side mirrors make it difficult to park, which makes me completely abandon Chevrolet.

Hyundai i20 after Aveo simply amazes with breadth, spacious and excellent visibility. Landing is noticeably higher than that of competitors, and it is much more convenient to park on it: you feel the dimensions at times. A spacious trunk and a chip sofa, where two children's chairs will fit without any problems, also add positive emotions. The power engine is the same as the Aveo, but the box, albeit 4-speed, but is still working.

Sports, modern, in terms of design exterior I20 will give competitors a hundred points ahead. The interior is also decorated very nice. Is that the ergonomics of the central console in the first acquaintance introduces into a light stupor. To learn to navigate in an infinite manifold of flat buttons, you need time. With my position, the better the better this is not consistent.

The only thing that confuses: Korean still seemed hard to me: both in terms of suspension and control. A sharp steering wheel, a dense suspension in all this felt some kind of male start, or something.

Skoda Fabia. Price: 548 000 r.
Selected: Since I will hear one of the best car segments in terms of price / quality ratio.

Another thing is Skoda. Although the angular design of Fabia makes it a few thumbname, inside this silver boxes, obviously female soul is hidden. In Skoda, the world immediately becomes somehow quieter and peaceful. Maybe due to better sound insulation and more feminine handling, but moving around the city in it I am much calmer and more comfortable. Silently like a cat, it is so hot on the road on soft paws. Even switching the 6-speed automatic box is almost invisible. At the same time, Tiptronic also leaves the ability to manually switch. In combination with a 105th powerful engine, this gives a significant gain in the dynamics, but, alas, turns out much more than in 1,4-liter competitors, fuel consumption.

The trunk is comparable in size with i20. Salon without delights, ergonomics easier, but for me it is rather plus. Although the control buttons of the audio system on the steering wheel would not be superfluous. Fabia visibility, of course, is better than that of Aveo, but before the Korean standard, given I20, is far away. Dead zones of Czech beat. But most of all is upset, in my opinion, hopelessly outdated exterior design. It is clear that Fabia will soon wait for facelifting, but she will most likely be me no longer a pocket.

Calm, but too angcious. I taste more smooth, sporty-dynamic features. Calmly

Challenges
In terms of controllability of Fabia and I20 one field of berries, but Skoda is noticeably more comfortable. It is nicer to ride it, the dynamics is much better. Fine!

Interior
A little ascetic, but I liked a very voluminous and functional salon Skoda Fabia, I liked no less than the modern cockpit Hyundai i20. Good
 

Economy
7.6 liters per 100 km. With a motor 1.4, the SKODA machine is not aggregated, so initially it was clear that the 1.6 Fabia engine will be noticeably voracious competitors. Acceptable

My choice
The aesthetic component, multiplied by outstanding visibility, Hyundai against the dynamics and comfort of Skoda approximately so you can formulate my final dilemma. It is reasonable, probably, it would be to wait the debut in April of the restyling version of Fabia, but this Czech cat in the bag is already unlikely to meet my modest budget. And the spoon is the road to dinner! Per spending waiting for the next March 8 in his old Almera I do not smile. Therefore, today and now I choose the I20 with his pleasant design, high driver's landing, excellent visibility and good handling.

Editor's Choice
In our opinion, in this case the choice depends on the vital priorities and the rationality of the nature of the future owner. Oksana approached the choice of the car as a shopping and took a clothes from the most fresh collection, which appeared on the market only last year. There is nothing surprising in this, especially since I20 fully deserves all the good words that have been told about him by our heroine. However, if you choose the mind, not a heart, given the Ambiente package, accessible for 550 thousand rubles, the choice of Fabia with a motor 1.6 and ESP looks much more efficient. After all, at Hyundai i20, the stabilization system is present only in the top configuration for 601 900 rubles, and Chevrolet Aveo is missing as a class.
