Test Drive Honda Jazz since 2011 Hatchback

The concert is over

Long-term test Honda Jazz: Fourth week.

Sounding a whole month in our version, jazzed improvisation approached the end. For a month, the test compactment Honda Jazz drove almost 4 thousand kilometers. The concert is over, it's time to pour grandmother.

A month spent at the wheel of Honda Jazz showed that a five-door car with a high body is power. In modest dimensions of jazz, an impressive inner space is hidden. He is enough dynamics both in Moscow and outside, and the suspension is not bad in turns, and pits swallowing great. All this makes Jazz a very universal car.

The cost of our instance in the configuration 1.4 Elegance CVT 667 000 rubles. Let me remind you that there are also top modifications - 1.4 Executive CVT complemented by a hatch in the roof, fog lights, cruise control, rain and light sensors, armrest and 15-inch cast discs. Such Jazz is already 754,000 rubles.

By the end of the test month, fuel consumption (AI-95) increased to 8.7 liters per 100 kilometers. At the same time, I am quite a lot of riding country tracks. I assume that the real consumption for the city is unlikely to drop below 9 liters per hundred. With an annual run of 20 thousand kilometers, the amount spent on gasoline bought even in the average Russian (26.13 rubles, Rosstat's data at the beginning of September) price will be 47 thousand rubles.

The obligatory policy of OSAGO on Jazz, registered in Moscow, for the driver under 22 years old and with experience driving less than three years costs 5,722 rubles. Does not hurt, especially in the first years of possession, buy and CASCO policy for 80 thousand rubles (average market value) for the first year of ownership (if you are up to 22 years old, you are a family man with experience for more than 2 years, live in Moscow or region, and Reimbursement of repair for the cost of the official dealer). Quite a lot. We will add here the same transport tax (2400 rubles) and the cost of TO-1 (7910 rubles).

Total, for the first year of ownership with the CASCO policy, you will have to lay out about 140 thousand rubles, which averages 7 rubles per kilometer of run. If you do not insure the car from damage and hijacking, then the cost of ownership will decrease to 60 thousand rubles, and the mileage kilometer will become cheaper than twice 3 rubles.

The cars of 2008 with a more or less sane mileage of 50-60 thousand kilometers in the secondary market cost 450-480 thousand rubles. Given the rise in prices in the last year and a half, it is difficult to calculate how many percent of its initial value loses Honda Jazz, but in any case, this percentage is small (about 7-8 percent per year), that is, jazz is an absolute liquid: a car that uses the car that uses In demand even on the used car market.

But if not Honda Jazz, then who?

The newest and most revolutionary Opel Meriva. Its swing doors are simply fantastic, and in terms of the volume of the internal space Meriva is not inferior to Jazz. In the asset in Opel, the best decoration of the cabin, the FlexSeats interior transformation system and a larger choice of motors: gasoline 1.4 and 1,4-turbo and two turbo diesel 1.7 CDTI (100 or 110 forces). The last engine can be aggregated with a 6-speed automaton, and only mechanics are available for the remaining. The cheapest version of 1.4 liters with a 5-speed handle costs from 589 thousand rubles. The six-speed mechanical transmission is offered for versions of 1.4T and 1.7 CDTI (690 thousand and 763 thousand rubles, respectively). More expensive, of course, the 110-horsepower turbodiesel on the machine - 785 thousand rubles, which is comparable to jazz in the richest version.

If Opel Meriva is the most recent option, then Ford Fusion is the cheapest. 1,4-liter gasoline modification on the handle in the Core configuration can be bought in just 491,800 rubles. Fusion, of course, is not new, and its design is far from modern Extercisis Meriva or Kia Venga. It is utilitated and simple, right, and for this they love many. However, a 1.4-liter motor combination with a top-end equipment Elegance increases the price to 564,200 rubles. Slightly more expensive (569,500 rubles) there is a version with a 1.6 engine (100 horsepower) with a mechanical gearbox in TREND configuration. The most expensive Fusion 1.6 Elegance with a machine gun - 620 200 rubles.

Another relative newcomer among compact representatives - Kia Venga. The design is modern and very stylish. The inner space also does not occupy. The interior is assembled well, and the quality of materials is better than Jazz. For Venga, only gasoline variations are available: 1.4 and 1.6 liters. The first motor develops 80 horsepower and is available only with five-speed mechanics. But for the older 1,6-liter motor, a four-step automaton is provided. This option is worth a minimum of 712,900 rubles. A version with a handle is cheaper in a similar configuration of LUXE by 33 thousand rubles. And the cheapest version of Venga with Motor 1.4 costs 614,900 rubles.

Another well-deserved veteran market Nissan Note. This lupido-dobryak, which in the people immediately nicknamed raccoon, has long earned the love of the Russian public. He is not as expensive as Jazz, Venga or Meriva, but it is reliable and tested by Russian roads, and places inside at least in football play. The easiest note in with a 1.4 engine and five-speed mechanics in the Comfort package costs 495 thousand rubles. But the most infuriated version - 100-strong 1.6 Silver Edition on the machine, with navigation and 16-inch cast discs - will cost 685 thousand rubles. There is an intermediate version 1.6 on a handle for 585 thousand rubles.

As they say, choose from what. Each of the above alternatives, in principle, preaches the same values \u200b\u200bas Honda Jazz: a large volume of internal space with modest external dimensions, plus a flavacy in urban conditions, multiplied by good driving habits on the highway and turns. Compromise. But with features.

Those who love the original design and well-performed interior, probably worth recommending Meriva or Venga very bright cars. Those who need a strong businesspanic, hard worker, and not very expensive, it is worth thinking about Note or Fusion. Jazz really successfully combines both. He, of course, is not avangander, like Meriva, but also does not seem outdated like Fusion. And the last restyling successfully rejuvenated his appearance.

Perhaps he is not as popular as Note, but he has a steady army of fans, which is constantly growing. Under the disorder inside Jazz, equals equals with competitors, while dynamic and managed very well. There would be a little lower price, and then Jazz would really seem the best choice for a family person with a middle sufficiency. But still there are options.
