Why am I? Perhaps to the fact that the new generation of Civic is suitable, rather, of the first category of dashings. I would call the Japanese the optimal city driver (the word racing is also suitable) by the car, since it allows you to enjoy the speed, without going beyond the indicators on the dashboard. And thank God!
 

Civic will justify the expectations of those who want to receive pleasant emotions from driving on the very first meters of the journey. A sharp steering wheel, excellent acceleration - just have time to fix the changes in the running numbers on the instrument panel: one -two - and there are already 60-70 numbers; Plus successful, moderately aggressive brakes, comfortable sports landing did you want this? Get it! Add to this extraordinary spatial and color solutions of the central console and instrument panels - and it will turn out to be given or to take a space computer toy.

 

In general, the first impression of the new Japanese from Honda is the most pleasant. And it is not surprising that everyone who managed to sit in a driver’s or in a passenger place greeted the beginning of the movement friendly: wow!.
 

True, after the first aggressive meters, our Civic somehow blown away. In any case, in the future, acceleration was not so impressed. But the pleasure of managing the smaller one was gone: acute reactions, an excellent severity of the steering wheel at speed, confident biting in the road - all this is evident.

  

But for excellent handling, you have to pay. In our case, a rigid suspension that reacts significantly to most road bumps, forcing the heart to contract after a particularly tangible hit. Those who plan to purchase a new Japanese need to remember that this is a car with a very low (it seems, about 14 cm) road clearance.

 

In general, the new Civic cannot be described as definitely a female or typically male car: it can give pleasure to anyone. And since you can’t call the Japanese a car for all occasions, I want to characterize it with a car for a pleasant life.

But we are waiting, they reassured me, “that the next, eighth generation, will be no less sports than predecessors from the nineties. This was the manager of one of the Honda salons a year and a half ago. Then we agreed that the seventh generation could have been a little more and more so after a personal acquaintance with a new Sivik, doubts disappeared. I was convinced that the forecast of the manager came true in many ways: it seemed to me that Civic was a little lacking of acceleration dynamics after 70 km/h, but before this mark he behaves cheerfully and assertively. And in handling, this is probably a leader among the front-wheel drive sedans of a golf class!
 

Outwardly, Civic left a pleasant impression: strict classic forms, which seemed to be from the fifth generation, quite peacefully coexisting with fresh ideas and lines. In front, it resembles a reduced chord: with a low and wide muzzle, sternly bent up the corners of the headlights and borrowed from the senior relative by the radiator grill. The car became noticeably lower and wider than the previous generation, while significantly adding in the front and rear rings.

 

The view from the back is more concise: you can distinguish a new Civic from the previous one by spectacular optics - 4 red circles inscribed in 2 trapezoid blocks. The interior is to match the appearance: bright and functional. Perhaps the brightest and most non -trivial in its class and even segment is higher. What is one design of the dashboard with a gradient blue-white background in the center of the tachometer! The tachometer itself, by the way - the only round indicator on the panel. The electronic speedometer, for example, is located right above it - at the next level of the dashboard. A 3-spoke steering wheel is perfectly inscribed in the interior, and most importantly, it lies conveniently in his hands thanks to thickenings in sports areas of ten and two hours.

  

The Honda sedan with a 1.8-liter engine and automatic machine is quite fro in the first two gears, but further its acceleration loses its previous swiftness. The mechanical box could correct the situation: according to the passport, acceleration to 100 km/h with a 6 -speed handle requires one and a half seconds less - 9.1 s! Well, let: Honda Civic, even having a 1.8-liter engine, is ready to compete with many two-liter cars. Moreover, in dynamic movements around the city: without rolls, screwing into the turns and famously rearranged from a row in a row. He knows how!
 

If you follow my example and cross the Civic wheel, leaving a chair (not the most impositional, by the way) of the sedan, Honda will make the Honda look for the road with the maximum number of bends and turns. Civic simply loves maneuvers: snakes, bends, restructuring the suspension practically does not allow the body to roll even in maximum turns: in a series of turns, where, it seems, the sedan should fall on the outer wheel, the car surprises with its stability. Lead at speed the steering wheel quickly and accurately transfers information to the wheels. At the same time, you simply forget about interceptions of the steering wheel: sensitive and sharp, it requires a minimal deviation so that Civic dives in the right direction.

 

Breed! The addiction to the active ride of Honda in the blood, and Sivik is a bright confirmation of this. He will be appreciated by both men and women. The main thing is to perceive the movement from point A to point B as a way of obtaining a mass of pleasures that the new Civic is ready to provide in full!

Talking about the New Sivica has long filed my curiosity. Presented in the autumn in LenExpo, the futuristic hatchback did not defeat and added oil to the fire: I was eager to be driving as soon as possible. And wait for so long - already until July: whole eternity. Therefore, when the case of the seventh generation sedan was presented in the case, I agreed without hesitation.
 

Is the new Sivik so good? Perhaps yes, but he did not cause me a violent delight. Harmonious forms of the body; The profile resembling the younger brother of Honda Accord is everything qualitatively, modern, but still without the inaccules of the hatchback. From the driver's seat, the view is more interesting: the original low dashboard, the space steering wheel, numbers and other navigation information with a nice blue backlight.

 

The dashboard is divided into two parts. In the lower is the original tachometer, and in the upper - a digital speedometer. Despite the unusual location, the devices are read well. The remaining control buttons are conveniently located - in the literal sense of the word, at hand. With a fairly low landing, good visibility has been preserved. Here it is also necessary to note the additional stand of the front door, forming a small window. In my opinion, a controversial solution: this does not interfere with visibility, but against the general background it looks like an alien element.
 

Seats with deep lateral support are tuned to the sports manner of riding. True, the upholstery seemed rather old -fashioned: the rear seats are like a teddy sofa, doomed to always look untidy, collecting all dust dust and all sorts of little things. And who pushed him here? In general, how much the front of the cabin looks modern, so the back half is archaic. Well, let's see what this time machine is in motion.

 

We got a car with a 140-horsepower engine and an automatic gearbox, in the EXECTIVE AT configuration. An informative steering wheel provides close communication with the track. The machine adequately reacts to the turns of the steering wheel, but there is no nervousness, and it cannot be called sharp. The sedan holds the road perfectly, easily enters the turn of 180 degrees. Security systems are in constant combat readiness. With sharp braking, ABS is in good faith, stopping the car almost immediately. Despite the declared sport, the suspension, contrary to expectations, seemed too soft.
 

By pressing the accelerator pedal, you feel how the car confidently gains speed, but without a characteristic jerk, it is quite leisurely and smoothly. This can be partially attributed to an automatic box. Even when switching the gearbox lever to the mark S - the manual mode of control of the machine using the steering wheel petals - the drive does not work. On the contrary: after that, the car, as it seemed to me, became even more thoughtful. I hope that on the handle the seventh Sivik will be more fun.
