Civic with plastic decorations along the lower perimeter and on 18-inch wheels is simply irresistible! Especially if clean. Everyone, however, understands that in winter in Moscow the purity of the car is conditional. Therefore, you forget about the aesthetics by will-willy and, one way or another, you focus on other things. In addition, these things persistently remind of themselves.
 
As in the case of Volvo S60, we will complain about 18-inch discs with low-profile rubber. The operation of such wheels in the winter is associated with a number of problems caused by a worsening condition of roads. In winter, large potholes in the asphalt with sharp edges appear everywhere (sometimes suddenly, literally in a day). This is a serious danger to a low -profile rubber machine. And if the suspension is also tough ... Meanwhile, the civic suspension has just such a sports, truly tough. And along with large discs, this forces you to constantly be alert from such a tension.
 
However, a shaking hard suspension has clear advantages that appear when there is a mood and I want to go quickly. I must say that Civic can organize such a mood to its owner, after which he will readily reveal his best qualities. A very acute informative steering wheel allows you to prescribe trajectories with jewelry accuracy. Moreover, at any speed, the feedback is magnificent. Regardless of whether you go through a slow steep turn or you go a gentle arc at high speed.
 
And how clearly the transfers are eliminated, how the switching mechanism works precisely, you can’t say otherwise! The floor pedal of the accelerator is also very sensitive and informative. A set of car controls is debugged to the top five. Good and motor. Thanks to the smart I-VTEC valves control system, the 1.8-liter unit urgently pulls from below and is active at the top. Moreover, the power grows smoothly. The engine has one drawback very noisy. When the tachometer arrow passes the mark of 4000 rpm, the salon is filled with an annoying hum.
 
In the case of Japanese hatch, beauty demanded victims. Take a look at how spectacular the fifth door. Two glasses separated by an anti-wing shelf, a red strip of lanterns and there is no janitor! Almost vertical lower glass is polluted by one or two, which significantly worsens overview. It is good that the upper one, even without a janitor, thanks to a strong inclination, always remains clean. However, visibility back is still mediocre. And the parking sensors installed behind is very helpful. I will say more to this car, it is simply necessary.
 
However, I am ready to put up with shaking and with poor visibility, these are insignificant shortcomings against the background of the advantages of Civic. For beauty and extraordinary handling, much can be forgiven. In addition, the car in terms of compensation offers a spacious, elegant, trimmed with high -quality materials of the salon. The chairs are covered with black velor, comfortable and hold well in corners. There are plenty of space behind. And for lovers, even cavities under the rear seats are loaded to the eyeballs. There is no spare and even docks in the trunk, but under the floor a niche for different useful objects. Convenient, but to the first serious puncture.
