Alas, the smoothness of the move was sacrificed. Even on a flat road by our standards, the suspension acquires acceptable suppleness only after 100 km/h. And she does not tolerate large potholes at any speed. The familiar joint of the old and new asphalt with a small height drop, which most other cars at a speed of 80 km/h pass painlessly, Fuzhn noted a terrible Dy-Dyn. I thought shock absorbers through the hood and the shelf of the trunk would get out. After that, you wonder: does the family-city car need wonderful handling if it is achieved at such a price?
 

Another significant minus of Fuzhna is a weak sound insulation. After 3,500 revolutions, the motor is very howled (both 1.4- and 1.6-liter). And somewhere after 80 km/h appears and smoothly increases the rustle of rolling tires. After 120 it becomes unbearable. And upon arrival in St. Petersburg, I was not fooled only due to the fact that there are many settlements on this highway, along which it is more expensive to drive and ... just ugly.

A manual gearbox is good with any of the engines. Clutch and switching mechanism work with filigree clarity. But the robotic semiautomatic device, which is proposed for a 1.4-liter engine, will not wish the enemy. In automatic mode, it stumbles with each switch. It is especially unpleasant to leave the reversal loop to a tightly clogged MKAD. He stepped on the pedal, seemed to be shot, and began to get into the stream. But the car suddenly sucks, and the one who on the left goes to your driver's door ... more or less adequately the robot behaves only in manual mode when you drop the gas and distort the lever. But then the meaning of the machine is lost.
 

Therefore, if you do not want to bother yourself with switching, it is better to take a 1.6-liter version with a normal hydromechanical automaton. In this version, there is enough motor, and the box works fine, and fuel consumption is surprisingly small. On the St. Petersburg highway with a machine gun, I brought 8.5 l/100 km by just 0.5 liters more than with mechanics. Of course, ceteris equal 1.6-automatic costs $ 900 more than 1.4-robot. But this is heaven and earth.

A road clearance of 170 mm (or close to this) is also possessed by some cars. However, during the congress from the asphalt, not only the clearance as such is important. Foujn has a unique combination of a short base, short overhangs and high rapids. Thanks to which I descended from those embankments and jumped over those ruts that I could not defeat on cars with a suspension adapted under bad roads. However, on a broken road, I had to drag at the speed of a pedestrian. The irregularities that other cars work out with a suspension, this is worked out by the body.
 

Of course, Fuzhn does not have all -wheel drive. But when sorties to nature on a passenger car, not so much four rowing are important as geometric cross -country ability, which allows you to save bumpers and thresholds. And according to this indicator, Fuzhn is fundamentally better than any car.
 

In our conditions, in our conditions, any car should have such geometry. You paid attention to how many tricks drives with jammed rapids? These injuries were received not on off -road, but in the city on curb stones and compressed snow. And if you are going to turn off the asphalt ... In my deaf village, where only 11 houses, Fuzhn already ordered two.
