But time flies, and with it, as usual, gradually goes out of interest in the car. The simplest and, accordingly, a common means of increasing interest in the car is restyling. But sometimes cardinal metamorphoses occur. The positioning of the model remains the same, but everything else changes, up to the name. This is what happened to Maverick. The fall in demand for him forced the company to make another, so to speak, car. Indeed, in fact, the SUV was simply updated and renamed.
So, Ford Escape family car with all the ensuing. The main buyers of the model are people at a conscious age of 35-45 years, for which the abandonment of the car is not priority. Therefore, the design of the SUV is maximally restrained and simple. The exterior does not shine with bright details. The strict forms of the classic body wagon is a slightly tilted front stand and vertical backwards are verified for years. Unless a stylish plastic body kit in a circle is slightly knocked out of the general canvas, and he invisibly gleams a wide grate of the radiator, stretching from the left to the right headlight. You can get used to everything, but it is not possible to recognize this decision convenient in any way.
An important factor for a family car is space in the cabin. At first glance, there are not many places here. This impression is created due to the high sex: the road clearance is 21 cm. But at the same time there is still plenty of space in the cabin. An extensive range of adjustments and a high ceiling will allow you to sit behind the wheel of even a person of basketball. The back of the back will not be closely, inconvenience can only be delivered by a almost vertical sofa back. As for the trunk, with a car length of 4.5 m, a sufficient volume is allocated for baggage. To load overalls, you have to raise a light fifth door, and a trifle can be thrown through a separate rear window.

In the car, belt pretense, front and lateral airbags, ESP stabilization system are installed. But dynamics and handling, frankly, are at an average level: no bright victories, as, indeed, defeats. This mode can be called economical, track.
