A little later, the explanation was found by itself. Stopping in front of the traffic light, I glanced at the salon mirror, and he reached for the turning indicator to indicate the restructuring to the right. The current version of the Chevrolet Aveo is much more complicated.
The new generation of the sedan added a couple of centimeters in height, but the width increased even more. In length, the new Chevrolet Aveo completely grew all his closest competitors from the B-class. I wonder what to expect from such acceleration: improvement of the living conditions of passengers or increasing places for things? It turned out that both and the other, but to varying degrees.
At the back in Chevrolet it really became more spacious. If, for example, to sit behind a driver of medium height (175 cm), then from the knees to the back of his chair there will even be a supply of a couple of centimeters. Yes, and the head will not fall into the ceiling more precisely, in the rear window, which was so far around on the roof that it ends exactly above the tops of the rear passengers.
There are many all kinds of drawers and niches in the cabin. In addition to two mess (the second, however, is very tiny: only a notebook with a pen or a navigator hidden from prying eyes will fit in it) there are convenient shelves on the sides of the central console, where you can throw, for example, a small phone. And in the doorway there are niches exactly under a large bottle of water exactly the same have the younger brother of Aveo - Spark.

The trunk Aveo is 502 liters of properly organized space with even walls and folding backs of the rear seat. Under the floor, a dock is hidden.
By the way, you remember this baby (Spark) as soon as you see Aveo's instrument shield in front of you. They are similar: the modernity of the round analogy dial and a rectangular digital display is no longer surprising. No matter how hard you try to adapt to it, no matter how you turn your thumb, nothing sensible. And this is annoying, because for lovers of dynamic driving, manual mode will definitely not be superfluous here.
The new six-speed Aveo machine is configured to economical, measured movement: with a sharp press on the gas pedal, it is conceived, lost, and the acceleration expected from the 115-horsepower engine comes only when the situation on the road already manages to change. Perhaps Chevrolet with 5-speed mechanics is more fun?
Aveo suspension scheme is traditional; In front here are the racks of Mcphereson, and behind a half -dependent beam. But with small asphalt pits and bumps, the newcomer copes better than his predecessor and, importantly, does it quietly. True, once on the next two after another road waves, the suspension nevertheless chose its entire course and hit the limiters. And this is on an empty car! With a loaded trunk and passengers on board, the road will need to be chosen more carefully. But the rolls in protracted or steep turns became smaller, and the sedan is controlled both at the city and high speeds is reliable.
Difficult. It is very difficult to choose a suitable car today. All city compacts are similar to each other, and the differences in the details: one more trunk, the other has more spacious in the rear seat, the third is endowed with an impenetrable suspension and high road clearance and are all about the same. Often the final decision is made on the basis of aesthetic reasons, and here Aveo has every chance of success. Cute and original, it looks very modern. Especially when you see it in the rear view mirror.
The price of the new Chevrolet Aveo
The list of CHEVROLET Aveo sets and techniques seems to repeat one of its main competitors, Volkswagen Polo. The Korean sedan is in the same way equipped with one single four -cylinder gasoline engine of 1.6 liters with 115 hp. and two gearboxes to choose from: 5-speed mechanics or 6-speed automatic. Prices for the basic version of LS begin at 444 thousand rubles. Such Aveo with a mechanical box and on 14-inch wheels will receive frontal airbags, ABS, an audio system with MP3 support, front electric windows, an amplifier adjustable height and a central lock. For a surcharge of 30 thousand, air conditioning is also available.
The LT option with mechanics is estimated at 487,000 rubles. The air conditioning is already included in the price, the audio system received AUX and USB connectors, the back of the rear seat can be folded here, and the wheels were added in a diameter of one inch. As options are available: hatch, alloy wheels, adjustment for the departure of the steering column, rear electric windows and heating the front seats and mirrors. The version with an automatic box, such a car was on our test, costs 520 thousand.
The price of AVEO in the top equipment LTZ with a mechanics of 523 thousand rubles. The automatic version will be 33 thousand more expensive. The list of equipment here is more extensive: 15-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, 6 pillows, cruise control, parking sensors, additional two speakers to the audio system, adjusting the driver's seat in height and previously optional packets with electroregies with mirrors, heating seats, central armrest and rudder adjustment By departure. However, the stabilization system is not available even in this version.
The hatchbacks also went on sale. Five-door Aveo with a 290-liter trunk are available only with automatic boxes and in rich trim levels LT and LTZ. And they cost seven thousand more than similar sedans.
The main rivals of AVEO in the Russian market are well known, primarily a couple of Koreans Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio, which, in addition to choosing gearboxes, can boast of a variety of power units. Do not forget about the Kaluga Volkswagen Polo and the Renault Logan near Moscow.
