Do not slow down on the washing board
The five E39 has excellent sledge qualities, but it is often reproached for a flimsy suspension. Indeed, in this regard, it is inferior to the predecessor E34. Largely because the levers are now made of aluminum. No, the winged metal itself is not guilty of anything. Just a lighter aluminum suspension shakes the body less, and the driver soon ceases to pay attention to the pits. Especially gets the suspension during braking on the washing board.
