And I must confess, this meeting in the metropolis opened many pleasant features in a sharp, but not such an unbridled character of Audi R8.
The standard of urban sports car for me was always Porsche for me every day. But, trading on the Audi car in Moscow, by pits and rings, I was surprised to find that comfort and tough sportiness can coexist. R8 turned out to be perfectly adapted even to our winter conditions. On the winter tires on the light snow, he leaves only the most positive impressions: the city took it as a native. What distinguishes Audi R8 from Ferrari, Maserati or Aston Martin, so this is what this car is very comfortable and it can really be used in everyday use to a person who wants to ride a sports car, naturally. And in this regard, R8 does not simply create a worthy competition of Porsche. It is much more comfortable by Carrera. With all my love for Porsche Carrera I can not recognize: Audi R8 struck to the depths of the soul with a combination of sports character, comfort and adaptability to almost any road conditions.
The legendary four-wheel drive Quattro, perfectly proven himself both on public roads and on racing tracks, and here proves its effectiveness! And this lies one of the keys to success. Of the sports cars of this level, there are only Porsche, Lamborghini and Audi. Yes, and weighing such cars will be better than the competitors, thanks to the rear-engine layout.

Of course, in any sports car for every day, if you wish, you can find a lot of minuses. But you should not forget that everyday operation Audi R8 is not a villain at all. Audi is a magnificent choice for a person who is tired that he is instructed on the rear sofa of the representative limousine, a man who wants to add bright emotions into a well-established lifefriend. Of course, it is not easy with our traffic jams, but also in such conditions R8 behaves well. Unlike the same Maserati, on which I cut down the streets of London, the Audi does not have the feeling that the transmission is managed by a student, which jerk throws a grip on each traffic light. In Audi R8, everything happens much softer, more comfortable and concise.

The unique design and high degree of adaptability to road conditions, perfect weighting and four-wheel drive make Audi R8 almost perfect sports car for every day. Perhaps the only decent r8 competitor on this field of all-wheel drive Porsche Carrera. But in the management of Audi R8, it is still a little simpler and predictable Stuttgartz.
