Lexus GS 450h is amazing, but the basic equipment of the hybrid GS costs almost the same as Audi 2 625 000 rubles. But the total return of its power plant is impressive 343 horsepower! It accelerates to a hundred, it correspondingly quickly in 6.1 seconds instead of 7.5 for Audi. And the equipment already includes all conceivable and inconceivable goodies. There are no perhaps diode headlights, a hatch and a sophisticated audio system that go in the equipment of Luxury for 3,118,000 rubles. If the presence of a hybrid as such is not necessary and it is only necessary to save on the consumption of fuel, then there are a lot of interesting options in the segment of business sedans. Including Audi. We decided to take a diesel car for a couple of weeks, and compare our impressions. True, to find A6 with a diesel engine did not succeed in the press park only found out on the same components of the large Audi A7 hatchback. But its motor 3.0 TDI develops the same 245 forces as much as the hybrid A6. And the base price of 2,650,000 rubles is only 50 thousand cheaper than a hybrid, and the A6 sedan with the same diesel engine would cost 300 thousand less! Of course, it is not entirely correct to directly compare A6 and A7: A7 has the best aerodynamics, but a little more mass (1795 versus 1770 kilograms). In addition, on A6 Hybrid and A7 TDI there were different tires. But something about fuel consumption and pleasure from driving can be understood so. And the first impression is how good a diesel is! Since the Audi A6 and A7 with six -cylinder engines go with all -wheel drive already in the basic configuration, and on the street is winter, the difference in accelerated dynamics was simply colossal! From the place of 245-horsepower, A7 tears as a hybrid A6 and never dreamed! Nevertheless, Audi without all-wheel drive is some kind of mockery! But with smooth reactions, things are worse. Of course, it does not reach discomfort, but that magical obedience and responsiveness in it is not even at all. Another very small minus is noise and vibration. Fortunately, the diesel V6 on Audi, even by gasoline standards, does not rattle and does not rumble. But the hybrid is still quieter! On the other hand, A7 does not have a start-stop system yet, which means that it will not constantly start and jerk the engine itself, which in the hybrid is accompanied by inevitable vibrations. So in a way parity. But a significant minus of a diesel machine is a very slow heating. But fuel consumption in the city of A7 Sportback spends no more than nine liters, that is, one and a half to two liters less than A6 HYBRID! On the highway, where the hybrid does not have an advantage in the form of a free traffic light of electricity, the difference becomes even more tangible. Seven liters per hundred, if you do not deny yourself anything. And if you roll on the A7 CROP control for a free autobahn without any overtaking, fit six liters. For a two -ton car, great! It turns out that even taking into account the higher cost of diesel, for 100 thousand kilometers of mileage you will take one and a half thousand liters of fuel less, which will save about 50 thousand rubles exclusively at gas stations during this time. But the point is not only in price: if the hybrid has a stroke of the course of about 650 kilometers, then the diesel diesel is more than 900. It turns out that from Moscow to St. Petersburg or Kyiv you can get without refueling once, but on a hybrid it will not work, so, diesel. And definitely! And more convenient and faster, and save money: you can pick up free options or take a hatchback body, that is, Audi A7. But why then Audi needed to create a hybrid if you buy it illogical and not economical? Firstly, hybrids are a trend, and we must try. Another answer lies in European legislation. Indeed, since 2014, Europe will introduce the norms according to which automakers will be required to have a lineup, which has an average level of not more than 120 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
