The major automotive company Mazda was established in 1920 on the basis of the bankrupt enterprise engaged in the production of building materials. A few years later, the first batch of motorcycles was released by the company, in parallel about the same time the production of car components started. The company received its modern name in 1931. Interestingly, a three-wheeled car was the very first serial model of the car developed by engineers. In 1960, a popular model R 360 Coupe was created. As the company develops, the range of cars produced by its enterprises has increased, since the 1960s, some of them were developed and produced in close cooperation with the German automaker NSU. To date, the owner of more than a third of the company's shares is Ford concern. Cars of this brand are gathering at 19 factories (of which 2 plants are located in Japan, the rest - beyond it), including (since 2012) - and in Vladivostok. Almost all models are the result of the implementation of innovative ideas and the most modern technologies, allowing to achieve excellent dynamics, economical fuel consumption and high ecology.
