Protection of adult passengers:
In the frontal impact, the PEUGEOT 508 passenger salon retained integrity. A good result was shown for the driver and passenger. The test showed that a similar level of protection will be provided for passengers of different sizes and for those who were sitting in different poses. A side blow to the machine showed good results. The side blow was not a lot of the ribs of the mannequin and touched the stomach. The seat and the headrest provide good protection against woven neck injuries in case of impact from behind.
Safety of passenger children
Peugeot 508 scored the maximum number of points for the safety of a 3-year-old child. The displacement of the mannequin forward as a result of the frontal and lateral clash was not significant, the possibility of a child’s hit on the salon was minimized.
Pedestrian protection
Bamoper sensors recorded good indicators in the center, but bad at the edges. The front edge of the hood turned out to be traumatic. Sensors on the hood showed mixed results. The possible zones of the head of the head for an adult pedestrian were dangerous, for the child they were safe.
