Comments:

EURO NCAP experts allowed to conduct a re -test after the back door opened during the side impact. The manufacturer made changes to the design of the car, after which the result improved markedly: the highest points during the lateral blow and good ones with the windshield. The body turned out to be very durable, only a small deformation of the passenger salon occurred during the frontal blow, and adult passengers were completely safe. High degree of protection of young passengers and pedestrians.

Frontal blow:

The body underwent minimal deformation. Two -level airbags and front belts with pretense and load limiters showed high efficiency, providing a low load on the legs and chest cells of the front riders. The developers of the car were applied a lot of efforts to ensure the safety of knees and hips, and they justified themselves: the pillow for the knees worked perfectly. The improved design of the legs protects the ankle of the driver. However, the floor under the feet of the driver deformed a little, and this deformation went beyond the central tunnel.

Safety of passenger children:

The front passenger airbag is equipped with a glove box switch. The short -lived icon and the inscription on the edge of the front panel reports its presence. The status of the pillow is displayed on the central console. The test used the Britax Romer Duo Plus sector manufacturer for the senior, fixed by “face forward” using ISOFIX and upper fasteners, and Britax Romer Baby Safe for the younger, fixed “against the direction of movement” using seat belts. Both children were perfectly protected during strikes.

Side blow:

Impressive system of safety, including side pillows in the backs of armchairs and safety curtains, also protecting the second row passengers. Maximum rating in this category.

Pedestrian safety:

In places where the head of the child-pester will fall when hitting, the blow is well softened. For an adult pedestrian, the results are slightly worse. The bumper, in general, is quite safe, with the exception of its front edge. The general result was only a little below three stars.
