Undoubtedly, compared to the previous model, the new Partner looks much more advantageous. In his appearance, there is no longer the utilitarianism that forced to look at this car only as a van for breaking flowers. Moreover, even in the show rooms of official dealers, he no longer presses in the far corner, ashamed of his proletarian appearance, and fully shares the area with more expensive models. And although you can’t call one hundred TEPEE beautiful, yet its appearance is able to hook. In particular, we are talking about the front of the car. Performed in the same corporate style with other Peugeot models, she involuntarily makes Tepe her among strangers. You must admit, because before the dynamics, expressiveness and individuality of cars of this class was not only not inherent, but also just alien. But now, in general, you can’t take your eyes off. No less interesting is TEPEE in profile. Huge sickles of wheeled arches, serious molding on the doors, the non-diode shape of the windows of the second row of seats and the luggage compartment will also not pass by the view of the outside observer. Only the feed was pumped up. The flat and absolutely inexpressive fifth door somehow does not fit at all with the general appearance of the car. The feeling is that, carried away by the elaboration of the front and profile, the designers completely forgot about it, and then, it is likely, when time was already running out, they decided to simplify everything to the maximum.
Fortunately, nothing like that, you can say about the interior. A huge, even by the standards of a rebellious van, the salon allowed artists not to hide on an increase in space, but to realize all their fantasies. The result was pretty nice. For example, additional holes under the air ducts on the central console are nothing more than a place for storing water bottles.
Witty decision. In general, there are no problems with places for storing trifles in Tepee, they are scattered around the cabin, starting from the ceiling and ending with the underground. Yes, it is underground. Moreover, this applies not only to the compartment in the luggage compartment, but also to those small caches that are under the feet of passengers of the second row. And how do TEPEE with a serious load develop? As it turned out, and here everything is in perfect order. So, the volume of the luggage compartment only in the level of the glasses is equal to 675 liters. If you load under the ceiling, you can already safely talk about 1350 liters of useful volume. However, the volume of the luggage compartment with the seats is most impressive. In this case, it is 3000 liters. By the way, the seats themselves are transformed or completely easily removed. True, depending on the configuration, in the back row there can be either two or three. And with the last option, as you know, it is easier to cope.
Today, the Peugeot Partner Tepee can be equipped with either a gasoline or diesel engine. We got a car with a 1.6 -lit, 90 -horsepower gasoline engine for the test. And I must say, never during the test we have lamented a lack of power. Of course, outstanding results from the car with this engine should not be expected. You can’t tear it from a place to the quarry, and the car does not get a hundred soon, but ... But in order to feel quite confident in city streets or on a suburban highway, it is completely enough. And if you also recall that for a hundred run around the city this rather big, in general, the car requires about 11 liters of gasoline, it even becomes pleasant. On the highway, Partner Tepee is content with 7 liters.
By the way, it was on the highway that it was noticed that, with all the efforts, the designers failed to defeat a specific rumble for a car of this class. There is nothing to be done: the larger the volume, the more noise. And apparently there can be no compromise. Although, if we recall that this is almost a single disadvantage that we managed to notice (it was somewhat inconvenient to use the parking brake, due to the close location of the handle
to the driver's seat), then you can safely close your eyes on it. After all, Peugeot Partner Tepee has much more advantages.
Configuration Today, Peugeot Partner Tepee is offered in two trim levels. The basic confort implies that the car is equipped with only one shift door of the second row of seats, two airbags, ABS and electric windows. The Confort Pack equipment is expanded by electric locks, adjusting the driver's seat in height, fog lights and the second sliding door. As an option, the car can also be equipped with the roof of Zenith. The latter not only fills the salon with light and provides an additional air flow through the ducts, but also significantly expands the possibilities for placing small things, as it has an additional boxing over passengers of the second row. In addition, the Zenith roof is complemented by religions withstanding a load of 80 kg, which opens up additional opportunities when transporting various goods and baggage.
Driving
The car behaves flawlessly on the road, but you need to be prepared for the fact that due to the great sparriage in the side wind you can get into the chatter.
