True, after the first aggressive meters, our Civic somehow blurted out. In any case, in the future, acceleration is not so impressed. But the pleasure of managing the smaller did not become: sharp reactions, excellent gravity of the steering wheel at speed, confident brazing in Doro GU - all this is evident.

  

But for excellent handling you have to pay. In our case, a rigid suspension, which responds significantly to most road irregularities, forcing the heart to shrink after especially tangible blows. Those who plan to purchase a new Japanese need to be remembered that this is a car with quite low (seems to be about 14 cm) road lumen.

This was told by a manager of one of the Honda salons of the year and a half ago. Then we agreed with him that the seventh generation could be a little more likely yes, after a personal acquaintance with the new Sivik, doubts disappeared. I made sure that the forecast of the manager came true: it seemed to me that Civic had a little lack of overclocking dynamics after 70 km / h, but before this mark he behaved cheerfully and assert. And on handling, it is probably the leader among the front-wheel drive sedans of the golf class!
 

Externally, Civic left a pleasant impression: strict classic forms that have come, it seems from the fifth generation, quite peacefully get along with fresh ideas and lines. In the front, it resembles a reduced chord: with a low and wide face, severely bent upside the corners of the headlight and borrowed from the older relative with the radiator grille. Conversations about New Sivique have long heated my curiosity. She presented in the fall in LenExpo, futuristic hatchback did not dislike and added oil into the fire: it was not wait to be driving as soon as possible. And wait for a long time - as well as July: whole eternity. Therefore, when the case has introduced to try in the seventh generation sedan case, I agreed without thinking.
 

Is there a new Sivique? Perhaps yes, but he did not cause me stormy delight. Harmonious body forms; A profile that resembles the younger brother Honda Accord - all qualitatively, modern, but still without the madness of the hatchback. From the driver's seat, the view is more interesting: the original low dashboard, space steering wheel, numbers and other navigation information with a pleasant eye blue backlight.

 

The dashboard is divided into two parts. The bottom is the original tachometer, and in the upper - digital speedometer. Despite the unusual location, the devices are read well. The remaining control buttons are conveniently located - in the literal sense of the word, at hand. With a rather low landing, good visibility has been preserved. It also should also be noted an additional front door rack forming a small window. In my opinion, the controversial decision: visits it does not interfere, but on a general background it looks like an alien element.

True, the upholstery seemed pretty old-fashioned: the rear seats look like a teddy sofa, doomed to always look untidy, collecting all the dust and all sorts of little things. And who shook him here? The machine adequately reacts to the turns of the steering wheel, but there is no nervousness, and it is impossible to be called sharp. The sedan holds the road perfectly, easily enters the rotation 180 degrees. Security systems are in constant combat readiness. With a sharp braking, ABS conscientiously works, stopping the car almost immediately. Despite the declared sport, the suspension, contrary to expectations, seemed too soft.
 

By pressing the pedal of the accelerator, you feel how the car confidently picks up speed, but without a characteristic jerk, quite slowly and smoothly. In part, this can be written off on an automatic box. Even when switching the gearbox lever to the S - manual control mode of the machine with the help of steering wheel petals - the drive does not work. On the contrary: after that the car began, as it seemed to me, even thoughtfully. I hope that on the handle of the seventh Sivik will be more fun.
