Frontal blow:

At the first frontal blow, small problems led to the late operation of the airbags, which is why the level of protection of the front riders was low. The manufacturer investigated the incident and made changes to the pillow management program. All previously produced cars were also subject to such modernization. When re -testing, the pillows worked as it should. The passenger salon was deformed slightly, and the knees and hips of the front riders were safe. The manufacturer was able to show the same level of protection for drivers of different growth in various positions.

Safety of passenger children:

In the frontal and lateral strikes based on the readings of the sensors, Mazda 2 scored the maximum number of points for protecting the three -year passenger. The brand dealers can turn off the airbaging pillow of the front passenger, which will allow the children's chair “against the direction of movement” to install in its place. With an active pillow, such a chair cannot be installed: a warning about this is not clear and you can only see with a closed sun visor. The presence of the possibility of installing the chair using the ISOFIX mount system in the rear seats is not properly indicated.

Side blow:

When hitting, the back door opened from the side of the blow, for which one point was removed.

Pedestrian safety:

The bumper is recognized as quite safe for pedestrians. The places where the head of an adult will get when hitting the head of the adult.
