Off-road classic — Ulyanovsk Automotive Plant (UAZ)
The Russian manufacturer of all-wheel drive UAZ is part of the Sollers car holding. The plant was commissioned in 1941: then he produced aviation shells and trucks for army needs. Currently, the plant produces SUVs, minibuses and light trucks. During its existence, the company released more than 4.5 million cars, twice was awarded the Order of the Labor Red Banner, and in 2011 he noted his 70th anniversary. In this icon for the enterprise, the jubilee, exclusive Patriot model with improved discs was available on sale.
The "UAZ" model range is constantly evolving. From December 2003, a new Ozazhnik UAZ Hunter came to replace the old UAZ-3151. In August 2005, the release of UAZ-3162 will receive the release of UAZ Patriot. And from August 2008, the release of UAZ Pickup has begun.

The controlling stake in the enterprise (67.77%) belongs to Sollers OJSC.
From the bus products, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant produces only a particularly small class (minibuses).
