And after six months of operation in a variety of road-climatic conditions, it was time to take stock.
Compared to a gasoline version, an increased noise level, if it is felt, does not definitely create discomfort. But the vibrations on the steering wheel are really present. If this aspect is so critical, you can wait for cars of the 2010 model year with a fundamentally new D5 engine. Having tested the engine on the S80 model, we were convinced: the new Volvo diesel works quieter and more evenly, adding 20 liters. With. However, the speakers of the current 185? If I were the owner of the Volvo XC70, I would love to use all modes, varying the settings of the car depending on the operating conditions or just for the variety of the emotional background created by the car. The maximum degree of steering with Advanced suspension and minimum with comfort from each other differ strikingly. But both modes are attractive and suitable for operation in their own way.

Our opinion
Among the cars belonging to the highest caste of the world auto industry, it is unlikely that more than five models that can argue with the diesel all -wheel drive universal from Volvo in terms of functionality. Spacious and passable, economical and quite dynamic, Volvo XC70 seems to be an almost perfect car for the family Russians.
