Volkswagen Passat CC test drive since 2009 sedan

Volkswagen Passat CC: Service Center

We study the habits of the most beautiful Volkswagen Passat in history.
It all started, as usual, I got into the car, adjusted a capacious but not hard chair in German, inserted the key into the castle, drowned it deep into it, and initiated did not happen. I was convinced that the massive DSG lever is in the parking position, there was no reaction brake pedal. He took out the key-cords, inserted it all the same again. It seems that I already frantically twisted the climate control regulators in the hope that the car would still start when the car dealership technique that came to the rescue showed the tablet hidden in the bowels of the console of an emergency immobilizer, which is necessary.
Yes, these cars are being stolen. Because they are a favorite deficiency of the secondary market. They stole more often other foreign cars at least in large cities of Russia. But the second to which I introduced myself as an autovor turned out to be not enough to answer myself if I had a choice, would I take an ordinary Passat? Or is this car, on which I am now leaving towards the Pulkovo interchange at the Kad?
Under me VW Passat CC, a four -door compartment according to the latest terminology. With a turbocharged engine 1.8 sufficient in order to push the car into a bunch of fast turns, without gaining a bile of fines daily for exceeding the segment from work to the house. With a DSG robotic box, which has long learned how not to get confused in the programs even in a torn urban rhythm, lightningly splitting the torque into seven steps.
In a hurry of illegal acts, I would not have noticed a particular difference with an ordinary Passat, although inside the changes the sea is the sea: there are two wells of instruments with soft illuminated color, on the right, a light, falling average console with neat climate regulators, under the fifth point New seats with a noble transverse line over soft skin
In fact, the interior solutions are copied from the BE-to-end-after all, for the first time, we saw the plateau of a neat console and the wells of the devices for the passats in it (though there are four of them), and the seats, it seems, did not become more convenient in the new pseudo-dump. Just CC is perceived whole. More expensive. More sports.
Of course, they bought me for the most convenient steering wheel (in general, the steering wheel of the latest VW are ergonomic masterpieces), and more gripped in the appearance of the seats, elegant door handles and neat climate control regulators, without offering anything radically new, but I ate a bait, chewed it, chewed, chewed it. And he was quite pleased: the quality of fitting the interior details is amazing, salon plastic almost everywhere friendly-soft and noble warm tint.
But these are trifles who would doubt that Volkswagen makes high -quality salons? It is important that Passat CC is beautiful. Damn beautiful.
This is not an elephant -like Mercedes CLS founder for four doors, with a huge front overhang, a hooligan fodder and proportions that have not been incomprehensible to a Perelman’s geometry, which has not yet been learning for seven years, I am out of envy, yes. But CC proportions are too organic in order not to talk about it.
By the way, the SS is not a Soviet Union, and not even Clinic Center. Comfort Coupe is what it is. The machine is so diligently practiced by the imposed image of an expensive compartment that the question, where the door frames have gone, fell as if by itself. By the way, the doors are so deliciously squinting with locks, and so carefully restraining the noises of the street on the outskirts of the cabin, that you involuntarily doubt and why did they refuse to make such immaculate structures in Subaru? Really really because of problems with acoustic comfort? There, Volkswagen did it. Ts-cie is really very quiet.
And the merchant passat writes more precisely turns, responds faster to the rotation of the steering wheel than ordinary, inemic softer on irregularities. Fast pits - those that are located for each other, and shock absorbers do not have time to fully work out on the hift of the SS passes all the same tightly and assembled, but small irregularities are noticed not with small fraction straight at the fifth point, but restrained and imperceptibly. The suspension softened, began to work smoothly and, in most cases, more comfortable.
The behavior on the road of soft Passat is no worse than the classic opposite, the low center of gravity allows you to push the car into a quick turn, without waiting for the front axle to slide out. At high speeds, the car is stable, like the Chinese wall during the attacks of the Huns.
And the steering has become more firm and more informative. The electric power capture was taken from Tiguan, but its cotton reactions of the SS did not adopt its role was played by a low profile of rubber and a smaller angle of inclination of levers and rods.
Only the rear passengers will not be happy, although they received an additional 31 mm in length, 36 in width and separate, qualitatively defiled places, but there were displaced there - a pillow, a ceiling above. Closely and not very comfortable.
Nevertheless, Passat CC is the first VW in recent history, with the number of doors, more than three, which is intended primarily for the driver. Three -removable Volkswagen, which catches. He could enter the market without elegant solutions, like a rear view, or optional adjustable suspension, steering and accelerator, leaving from under the emblem. He would love him and so.
And it seemed to me that the center of gravity of this machine is not next to the points of mounting the gearbox with two clutches, but much higher exactly where the heart of its driver.
Often this is valued even higher than the opportunity to write turns with the accuracy of a cardiac surgeon.
We thank the Volkswagen Center Pulkovo for the car provided.
