Let's move on to the cabin. Despite the belonging to the coupe clan, the four -door car favorably differs in the internal expanse. Immediately note: two adult passengers are placed behind. And they do not just fit, but sit comfortably, without resting their knees in the back of the front chair. Seats are established in front and rear, which are a successful compromise between sports and comfort: the moderately tough, with average lateral support made of high -quality materials. Among other things, the new system provides active ventilation of the pillow and back of the seats. Almost silent fans pump about 320 liters of air per minute.
We continue the topic of comfort. Passat CC was the first Volkswagen model with a climate control system that has an intuitive and visual menu structure. The driver and front passenger use practical rotary regulators for configuration, which, plus to the main purpose, act as a mini-screens: the selected temperature is displayed directly on them. Additionally, climate control parameters are displayed on the audio system display.
It remains to add that the choice of customers offers inserts from natural wood and mattressed aluminum. It is interesting that in the decorative panels of the doors throughout the contour you can integrate the backlight, which should create a pleasant atmosphere in the cabin in the dark.
Now about the engines. The weakest version of Passat CC is equipped with a gasoline TSI, which develops 160 liters. With. (at 5000 min-1). The volume of 3.6 liters allows you to accelerate the four -door compartment to hundreds per 5.6 s. At the same time, the average consumption attention! 10.1 liters! The fact that this indicator is true, managed to verify during the eight -hour marathon on alpine serpentines. Despite the dynamic ride, the on -board computer stubbornly showed 9-10 liters. Bravo! The maximum speed limited by electronics reaches 250 km/h. I wonder what limit CC is able to accelerate if you turn off the limiter?
During a trip on mountain roads, CC had never given a reason to doubt his humility. It is worth emphasizing that the 300-horsepower version is equipped only by the 4Motion all-wheel drive system is not given to another. An adaptive suspension, which allows to constantly improve the dynamics of the car, offers a choice of three modes: Normal, Sport and Comfort. The last two are included in the key located to the right of the KP lever. The rigidity of the suspension is constantly changing, adapting to the situation and the quality of the road surface. In addition, the system responds to acceleration, braking and rotation of the steering wheel.
Robot instead of man
One of the most interesting Passat CC options is the Lane Assist system. With an unintentional intersection of marking lines, which often comes from the inattention of the driver, the electronic mind automatically corrects the position of the wheels. As a result, the car returns to the correct trajectory. This will bring additional comfort and security into the management process. In terms of dynamics and comfort, Volkswagen Passat CC has come close to a few cars that include premium brands. At the same time, innovations like super -economic engines and DSG boxes give the people's manufacturer a solid head start. Deserve praises and appearance. Using the basis of the standard Passat, German designers have created a very attractive car.
