Therefore, we recommend motor audiophiles a 3.6 -litar V6 with a capacity of 300 hp. With it, the car sounds (and accelerates) no worse than a thoroughbred supercar. By the way, to buyers of ordinary passats, such an engine, which is paired with an all -wheel drive transmission, is not available. So this is another argument in favor of the CC version.

In Russia, the updated VW Passat CC is available with 1.8TSI gasoline turbo engines (152 hp) and 2.0 TSI (210 hp), as well as atmospheric V6 3.6 (300 hp). All units, except 1.8TSI, are regularly equipped with a DSG robotic box, and a 6 -cylinder version as a free application also receives a 4Motion all -wheel drive. There is only one 2.0TDI diesel (170 hp), working with a 6 -speed DSG. VERDICT
The SS version is largely superior to the classic Passat. This model looks brighter, better equipped in the database and can be equipped with a 300 -horsepower engine with all -wheel drive. The only thing the SS is inferior to its namesake is in practicality. However, the choice of Passat CC is the case when practicality fades into the background.

Driving
Over the years, VW designers brought the parameters of the Passatovsky chassis to the reference ones. Perhaps that is why during the ride I did not think about the settings of the steering wheel and suspension amplifier or the clarity of the work box.
Salon
Soft plastic covers only the top of the torpedo, nevertheless, the interior looks richly. Double rear series of seats is a sign of a real limousine.

In Euro NCAP they did not beat CC, but the usual Passat received 5 stars. The standard equipment of the model includes 6 eirbags and ESP.

Compared to the Passat CC dorestyle, almost 100,000 rubles have risen in price. Nevertheless, the car costs its money.
