Not a parquetor, but a car
The test car is equipped with a Diesel 1.9 L (104 liters p.). Motor is quite economical: I just forgot with him what kind of refueling. According to the manufacturer, the consumption is only 6.7 liters in combination mode. Six-speed gearbox. Front suspension independent. Rear from the continuous bridge with a powerful gearbox. Haldex Coupling connects the rear axle on demand. Just do not seriously hope for a four-wheel drive.

I tried to ride the rough terrain and quickly disappointed. Off-road in principle not for this design. It is not even parquet, but a purely light characteristic. The angle of the congress is 23 degrees, the angle of the ramp (fracture) 15 degrees. Plus, the road clearance is far from perfect. You will go a little faster and either demolish the bumper, or in the garden protect the crankcase. By the way, the defense of thick iron is very good. But this is the only plus. The box is only mechanical, and the grip on the soft ground is lit by a hell with a flame. To drive in the sand. The anti-test electronics suffers the strongest autism. When you try to hang one of the wheels, I planted the car on the belly: I do not remember another such incident over the past three years. With the ESP enabled, one of the wheels cheerfully digs yourself a grave, so quickly that when I clicked on the brake, it was too late. Is VW confused all anti-bux technologies used in Touareg? No, just tramper is not an SUV.

However, this car wanted to surprise others, namely the bed in the cabin. Together with the awning and accessories (two chairs, table and refrigerator) it takes the entire trunk. You look at this design and do not understand: how is it better than a flat floor formed by folded seats, where can I throw an inflatable mattress or sleeping bag? For me so much worse. In any car obviously lacks the place, especially in height. The lower you made a lay in the car, the more living space played. There is no smooth floor in the VW Caddy 4-Motion Tramper, and the designers gave the designers there something like the upper shelf of the railway wagon. Everything, it would seem good, but once again to climb, getting bored, and the place does not get a full-fledged residential, but frankly sleeping. Sit, play chess with a girl will not work at once.

Caddy Tramper looks very harmoniously in Greece or in France, where the family on the weekend or taking the week of vacation is sent to visit several mountain gorges, waterfalls and other beauty, to koi in Europe no more than 100 kilometers anyone.
