Why are they in no hurry to part with old technologies on UAZ and do not use the only nut with a plastic ring that prevents self -relocation? At the same time, they would save time, and so the collector has to do double work. He was slightly dissolved and the silent block of the front lever. The tightening of the elements of the chassis did not cause complications, a special tool was not required.
The levels of oils in the transmission units are normal, there are no fluxes. But with plastic lubricant, the factory workers made sure: the crosses and slotted joints of the cardan shafts are dry. Our first patriot, I remember, also demanded abundant lubrication of cardans ...
The designers failed to make one fuel tank, and the circuit with two forced the fuel pumping system. It is not always possible to fill the tanks at one dose, since on many columns the hose is short and the car has to be deployed. To avoid this, we are trying to support the right tank full, and we refuel the left. Recall that the fuel comes to the engine from the right tank, it is located in it a gasoline pump, and it is constantly replenished from the left. You have to ensure that both traffic jams are tightly twisted, otherwise the fuel is not pumped or poured out of the right tank.
In the engine compartment, changes are noticeable: tubes, hoses and wires are apparently carefully laid, the clamps are installed without distortions and tightened as expected. Instead of the heater hoses adjusted to the place, molded appeared. The upper pipe of the radiator no longer rubs on the valve cover, but the lower still lies on the steering mechanism. There are fewer sharp edges and burrs along the wings and radiator, but we do not recommend working without gloves in the motor compartment anyway. The adsorber near the battery next to the battery is reminiscent of the engine. Instead of an ineffective domestic vacuum amplifier, a compact imported one is now working in tandem with a new main brake cylinder. On the fasteners of noise insulation of the hood, the factory workers saved half the pistons, and a heavy mat sags like old wallpapers. They fixed it with eight -case pistons of the upholstery of the doors.
The ignition coils are the same, but instead of outdated connectors, modern with a rubber sealing ring and a latch. The engine control unit is fixed in the engine compartment next to the expansion tank and is not protected from attackers. Remove the connector from it and connect another block for several seconds. And the immobilizer introduced by the plant remains out of work. All hope for alarm and secrets that the owner should take care of.
The engine worked smoothly, but tried to boil in traffic jams. And the electric fan was not surprisingly turned on. The malfunction was eliminated quickly replaced by a burned fuse, which is located in a box next to the battery. By the way, two fuses are responsible for the electric focus, the same number of relay.
After starting the engine, the retracting relay of the starter did not always return to its original position, and the anchor continued to rotate with the flywheel, making unpleasant sounds. The opening of the ignition lock showed that almost all the larvae plates are bent. Since the car has a single key to the ignition and doors lock, we decided not to change the knot, restoring it on our own.
The main advantage of the new salon compared to the previous seat. Front with additional adjustments of the pillow and lumbar support. The rear sofa is easily laid out. Under it are roomy trays in which you can hide the tool and accessories. We removed additional lateral seats in the luggage compartment, as we are not going to use the car in the bus version. If you lay out the rear sofa, then the patriot turns into a small truck. But a flat site does not work. There are no shelves of the trunk even in the most expensive configuration, so its contents from prying eyes have to be covered with improvised materials.
Fuel consumption is still large: on a suburban highway in compliance with a high -speed mode about 12 liters per hundred, in the city up to 18. The first kilometers the car kept uncertainly on the road scribbled from side to side. After adjusting the angles of installation of the wheels, the patriot calmed down and keeps the course noticeably better. A sense of confidence and mutual understanding is growing in proportion to the run. After a couple of days you get used to his reactions, the manner of perform overtaking and turning. UAZ is still so far to the ideal, but the movement in the right direction is noticeable. Recently announced the introduction of a new quality system at the factory. Well, borrowing foreign experience is useful. It is better to study on other people's mistakes than on their consumers.
The main work on the pre -sale preparation of the car
1. Check and, if necessary, bring the level (quantity) to the norm:
coolant in an expansion tank;
fluids in the tanks of the hydraulic drive brakes and adhesion;
fluids in the tank of the washer washer;
oils in the tank of the power steering of the steering mechanism;
oils in the crankcase;
Oils in transmission units.
2. Check the tightness of the engine power system and the hydraulic brake drive. Eliminate detected malfunctions.
3. Check the level and density of the electrolyte. If necessary, bring to normal.
4. Check and, if necessary, adjust:
tension of the drive belts of hinged engine units;
Air pressure in the tires.
5. Check (tighten) fastening of cardan shafts and wheels.
6. Check the work and eliminate the malfunctions:
windows, door locks;
electrical equipment;
seat belts locks;
seats adjustment mechanisms.
