Outside of the tribe, just alpha Romeo with off -road ambitions (plus a whole bouquet of other quotes). The designers, it seems, did not disturb the accusations of direct borrowings, although it is unlikely that the Americans for whom the model were created are very concerned about the fame of some Italian firms there: most Yankees sincerely think that Italy is somewhere ... in Canada.
Inside the car is more original, but with Subaru, except for the emblem on the steering wheel, nothing in common. The salon is the most spacious of all three to the fact that the third row of seats is hidden under the trunk floor, however, closer than it is customary during a similar layout. We can say that there is a capacity of 5+2. The review is not bad, but worse than competitors. In the central mirror, the rear window is completely placed and the thick frame around, behind which the same tribe is easily hidden. The front racks, bulging towards the hood, are more ordinary, no less impressive and massive. And in the front doors they could not do without small triangular glasses. I don’t know what hope was assigned to them, but from the driver's place the viewing spot on the road, viewed through the triangles, approximately equally in the area of \u200b\u200bthe mouse carcass, the rat will not fit there. But here are the most convenient and voluminous chairs. And the sound of the music center competes in quality not only with the best music of audio tunes, but also with a good home acoustic system. There are many close features in Murano, unless not so extreme. The nit -picking, however, is smaller: a miserable car inappropriately expensive (outwardly and ease of use) radio and a driver’s seat slightly deployed relative to the longitudinal axis and steering wheel. DYNAMICS
These cars are objectively fast. Their destiny is grinding asphalt, and not loosen the virgin soil. But they cannot boast of the presence of a lowering row in KP and differential locks. So they have to judge them by passenger standards without landing on the ground and calling a drunken warrant officer in the Urals.
Murano begins to like from the first meters of the race. It starts briskly, without any delays, but at the same time surprisingly soft, clicking you in the back of the chair gradually and smoothly, without overload. The passage of gears is extremely smooth, and if you do not specifically pay attention, the switching itself can not even be noticed. Kick Dawn easily throws one or two gear down, and the car rushes forward, as if on an embrasure. I must say, even high speeds do not annoy with their noise the timbre of the voice of Nissan, a rather pleasant convincing soothing baritone. The brake dynamics was also very impressed.

I already have more complaints about the tribe. The main thing she thinks at the start, which is atypical for the living and active Subaru. But after the run, it rushes easily and imperceptibly if you put pressure on the pedal, without letting go, until it stops. But with a sharp set of gas from medium revolutions, a small delay is again manifested. Is this a sentence? It turns out no. We translate the automatic transmission selector from position D to S, and the car comes to life noticeably. No thought, forward and only forward! And you can manually overcome this third regime, but more lively than in S, it still does not work. The brakes here are quite effective, but with a sharp deceleration of Tribeca, it will be unnecessarily squeezing with his nose.
BMW, of course, is a fighter. Already according to the timbre of the motor, it is clear that he will quickly and brutally tear competitors, and the bass voice is designed to paralyze their will to win. X3 without hesitation jumps forward, even before the owner throws his will to this. These sensations arise from extremely sensitive and light gas pedal. Any millimeter movement of the foot is and compact, lean, but at the same time a weighty permissive man with the devotion of the faithful servant changes his behavior.
And not only in the case of an increase in revolutions, which is not yet too amazing. It is much more impressive with what pleasure the machine slows down the engine: in the program where the gas had to be back, and on the next, where the automatic transmission goes if the accelerator pedal is released. That is, here the gas pedal has the most direct connection with the dynamics. And in relation to braking, the same sensitivity seemed even excessive. It is only worth slightly crushing the pedal, as an invisible electronic force helps you slow down, sometimes even stronger than you ordered. But the efficiency of brakes x3 is great.
CONTROLLABILITY
The controllability of both Japanese crossovers is due to the specifics of American traditions. In the States, the driver simply will not understand if, after turning the steering wheel, the car instantly changes the course. No, he is supposed to, hesitating and generating a couple of moments, reluctantly start a maneuver: well, so I will be the following to your advice, sir, and turn right. But maybe you still change your mind? In Subaru, this manifests itself especially noticeable. Although at the same time the machine does not fall out: probably due to the low location of the traditionally opposition engine. And Nissan is a more clockwork, but due to a soft suspension more than I would like. But how wonderful he passes irregularities! Here is Murano champion. And not only in this test, but also in comparison with the majority of cars and SUVs who come to memory.
Such an obstacle, such as a typical black and yellow mental, can go from any move and, most likely, will not make any shakes of the body at all. Which does not mean at all that you can fly away those zones where you need to decline for self -discipline, say, on a zebra. True, this is no longer in the suspension area. The triber is unusually pleasantly smooth, but without motion sickness. And in the arsenal of its advantages, an unusually steep angle of rotation of the front wheels, which noticeably helps in city parking in this largest and high car of the entire trinity.
Heze, from the point of view of rudder, left a dual impression. Changing him not only from these two competitors, but also from other cars, you feel almost forgotten emotions from the steering wheel without an amplifier. Although this, of course, is not so simple designers left you a sense of feedback. But, the paradox, the steering wheel is spinning hard, and it does not hurry to straighten during the gas typing and the front wheels are now turned on, it still does not give. And most importantly, a misunderstanding does not occur during the active rotation of a thick ergonomic rim, but when moving in a straight line. There is no pronounced zero here. A strange combination: heavy steering wheel, and empty in the middle! And you have to constantly catch the trajectory, stinging with a steering wheel. You can get used to it, but it is not easy to understand, especially for that kind of money. But these nit -picking do not detract from the joy of BMW management.
