Yeti now propagates almost in the very center of Europe. This is facilitated not so much by landscape and climate as the favorable conditions of the car market. The name of the mysterious half-man with long wool and sharp teeth is now wearing a new Skoda crossover.
The beast is not as great and terrible as it is painted in legends.
Strings are no doubt, but quite pretty and compact. The appearance does not repel, but the animal is clearly not an aristocrat, and it is immediately not afraid of dirt.
The clearance is 180 mm, the exterior is simple and unpretentious, so small at the first meeting you can pat on the shoulder in the first time and do not blush for the familiar familiarity.
Inside, Yeti prays to two gods: the functionality and comfort of the recognizable handwriting Volkswagen. The front panel winks with familiar details from Roomster and Superb. The interior is deprived of pretentiousness and complaints about luxury, but a claim to the title of folk car is evident. With a compact body, there is a very spacious and comfortable interior. The rear seats are located two centimeters higher than the front ones. Thanks to the Varioflex system, three rear seats can be folded separately or be dismantled, while the side have longitudinal adjustment, and with a cleaned average chair they can be shifted to 80 mm.
On the go, the animal is not a clubfoot at all, moreover, the gait pleasantly surprises with grace: Yeti floats confidently and evenly, does not stumble on the bumps. At the presentation of Skoda Yeti in Slovenia, journalists were given the opportunity to carefully bathe it in the mud. The result is beyond praise. On a soil off -road highway, a 44 crossover with a multi -disc electrijacket coupling Haldex behaves more worthy than an ordinary SUV.
I must say that on the highway Czech Yeti desperately grinds his teeth. Moreover, he does not lose his anger and assertiveness even in the most modest configuration with a 1.2-liter 105-horsepower TSI and a manual six-speed checkpoint. In this version, Yeti is produced only with a monotive. The full-capacity of the water-watering with a 1.8-liter TSI completely starts in earnest, provoking to frankly gambling driver.
In Europe, in addition to two gasoline engines, Yeti will also be equipped with four two -liter diesel units with a power range from 110 to 170 hp. If the supply of gasoline TSI vehicles in the Skoda representatives is confident about the supply of gasoline TSIs to the Russian market, then they are still silent about the availability of diesel. The first Czech Yeti steps on our land at the very end of the year.
The new Skoda is drawn to all points to the title of folk car, even the rude appearance shouts: I am in my board! In addition, it is difficult not to evaluate the intelligible combination of functionality and comfort. In Russia, honest prose is loved, but how depends on its cost.
