It is then that it needs to be compared with lovers such as VW Polo, Skoda Fabia, Chevrolet Aveo and Hyundai Getz. Surrounded by opponents, the brand new Dacia Sandero decided to climb into the class of compact cars. This applies to renting apartments, utility bills, gasoline and insurance. And some layman rejoices when he accidentally finds a new way to save money. Namely, when Dacia Sandero appears in the European market for only 7.500 euros! Agree, the price is ridiculous to disgrace. There is nothing cheaper in Europe and cannot be yet. Phenomenal, is it so good for the car in comparison with such fiction as Chevrolet Aveo and Hyundai Getz? Or with champions of this class Skoda Fabia and VW Polo? In 3 test stages, we get to the bottom of the truth.
Dacia Sandero does not look wretched or cheap
A small run around the car. No, nothing in this car does not look cheap, and there is nothing to be ashamed here. This car is not like an economy model. Inside, everything also looks great, and in the top version of Lauraate (for 10,000 euros) the salon will also shine with aluminum brilliance. A pleasant feeling in front is not at all crowded and full of space to swing your shoulders. The trunk is also nothing (from 320 to 1.200 liters). But behind it is very inconvenient to sit here solely for thin and small -sized persons. In this case, Fabia is much better and shows special flexibility in everything.
Polo typical sensation of the representative of VW
A typical feeling in VW: materials that are pleasant to touch, sheathing forever, an ideal security system. Everything is fine, but the equipment is terrible. Even for happiness, do not twist the oars, but you need to pay 121 euros to press the windows buttons. But here and the Chevrolet Aveo Attack with Hyundai Getz is not better. Both candidates in the basic configuration sat on a diet. It is glorious at least that Aveo has a radio receiver in the initial version.
The nimble Getz is endowed with 97 hp, on the highway you can accelerate to 190 km/h (lucky to the Germans. Ed.). But further the Korean has nothing to praise poor depreciation, insensitive steering, the ESP system for an additional 600 euros. Only Chevrolet Aveo, which can be dangerous, is worse. Especially, with full loading, its braking distance is as many as 42.2 meters! A little better Romanian candidate, who, at least holds the terminal stability quite decently. But its braking distance, one way or another, is 41.6 meters. By the way, the brakes never differed in the normal quality of Dacia. In this paragraph, representatives of the concern VW Skoda Fabia and VW Polo distinguished themselves with an exemplary demonstration. These candidates have a small difference, because they have a common filling.
Skoda Fabia wins the battle of 6 points. Only in one point Fabia is slightly inferior, namely in comfort when driving.
Verdict
However, Skoda Fabia wins. Full of space, excellent safety and lower price, in comparison with the almost identical VW Polo. At the very bottom of the list remain Chevrolet Aveo and Hyundai Getz. It is not enough that the car is just cheap when there is not enough safety and comfort. The most, however, is surprised by Dacia Sandero: simply, solid and record cheaply. In this regard, competition is completely resting. The disadvantages of this car are stupid brakes and ESP. But this car will make many buyers and manufacturers think a new price range is now open.
