But, of course, there is a car where all this fit under one body. Welcome standing Renault Laguna!
When Laguna was presented to journalists, there was still no all this extensive advertising campaign, and that Laguna, in addition to three gasoline engines (1.6, 2.0 and 2.0 turbo), will also have a diesel two -liter engine, they spoke large secret. But it was already possible to guess that they finally took up the promotion of the model in Russia, and dozens of units sold are planned to be replaced by thousands, although it is not in the secretive nature of Renault to talk about such plans. After all, who knows better than the French that there should always be a riddle, for example, in a woman? And French cars that young girls are sweet and capricious.
But times are changing, and if earlier such liberties got away with and looked charming, now they decided to eradicate them. Of course, without the influence of the Nissan partner, it was not done here. Indeed, with all the advantages of the Renault quality plan, adopted by the company's management back in 2003, it erades in the brand part of its French self, namely, mild slack. But in relation to the car, this, in fact, is not the best feature. Therefore, Laguna will undoubtedly win from the Japanese influence of Laguna. What are the happy owners of the hatchback or station wagon (Laguna-sedan still does not exist) of the prestigious D-class in a year or two, when it is not overwhelmed with them either a year or after another.
Although the previous generation Laguna was already better than others, even the Japanese. She was the first to receive five stars in EURONCAP crash tests. The new Laguna is equipped with no analogues with the device that includes two shock sensors located in the front door and in the middle body rack. Plus, a double adaptive side pillow of new generation safety, designed to protect the chest and pelvis.
Six airbags go to Laguna already in the basic configuration, as well as fog lights, adjusting the driver's seat not only in height, but also in the lower back, the rear armrest, Easybreak system (smooth gender, for the station wagon), chip card and start button /Stop instead of a key. The chip card, by the way, has become more resistant to scratches and moisture. Laguna can also have a rain sensor, a leather interior, an automatic parking brake, parking sensors, a 6-disks CD changer and a panoramic hatch with an electric drive.
The rear wheel control system looks completely original. In principle, not so news: many Japanese brands used it twenty years ago. Honda made a purely mechanical system, Mazda and Nissan preferred hydraulics with electronic control. However, today four guided wheels are very rare. In the execution of Renault 4RD (4 Roues Directrices 4 wheels) improve not only maneuverability, but also handling, and therefore, increase safety and provide more management pleasure. Unfortunately, so far such a system is put only on the sports version of Laguna GT with a two -liter engine with a turbocharger of 205 hp. This option is also distinguished by the appearance and decoration of the cabin. But so far it is not supplied to Russia. And it is not known when it will be delivered.
But all this is the prose of life, but where is poetry, where is the beauty of the syllable? Like waves of carnelian, fences are plowing fog. Who knows, maybe Verlane would have sang a wave of wings and the lazy languor of the same Laguna today, for example. So, the miracle of technology to combat prejudices! Here, in addition to the usual keys, there are three more buttons: Soft, Auto and Fast. Soft mode smoothly and silently changes the temperature in the cabin. Auto does everything as he decides. But we needed a Fast button. It is for those cases when you need to quickly change the temperature, for example, by winter in the morning, when the very thought of getting into the car is cold, or in the summer noon, when the salon is hot up to fifty Celsius. Renault promises that in less than 10 minutes the temperature in the cabin can be reduced from 50 to 22.
Renault, in general, and Laguna, in particular, promise a lot. For example, that hands will always be free and clean. Because the key card will be recognized as as many as six antennas, and instead of a screwy cork of the fuel tank, there is a special valve built into the filled neck. Even guarantees for three years or 100,000 km of run are offered. The French car, like a French woman, really wants to believe.

The second useful moment of the system with all controlled wheels is more stability when moving in a bend or during rebuilding. Thanks to this, the ESC may be included in the work later. The new Laguna reacts to the actions of the steering wheel more lively and more pleasant.
