The highlight of Porsche Boxster is its relative versatility. If on Carrera with its ultimatically stiff suspension with the whole body you feel every flaw of the roadway, then Boxster is quite tolerantly coping with small pits and protruding patches on the asphalt. On a heavy feedback steering wheel, at least the result of the use of a light -handed river steering control with a hydraulic wiper and a variable gear ratio. Sometimes it seems that the steering wheel is too tight even for Porsche. At high speed, in conditions of poor -quality asphalt and ruts, Boxster begins to take a walk, and where Carrera goes like along the rails, it needs an eye and an eye.
 
PDK quickly plays its seven steps, but as for me, then when choosing a real sports car, alternative to traditional mechanics does not exist. And no matter what they write about the speed of switching and fuel savings, the lack of a third pedal makes the controllability of some synthetic anyway that kissing through the package.
Whoever says, but Boxster is the most porsche to the piston.
Its versatility and good adaptability for daily drive is an undoubted plus that expands the circle of potential customers of the brand. After all, the Cayenne crossover, after which many accused Porsche of violating the prevailing traditions, still makes the lion's share of the concern sales in difficult economic conditions.
And if you need a real sports style and medium -propelled layout, maneuverability and pleasure from driving, but without the Ultimate prefix, then this is undoubtedly Boxster. Well, those who have grown and do not tolerate compromises are welcome to the world of Carrera. But this is a completely different story
