PDCC rolls are opposed using hydraulic cylinders, which are installed instead of racks of reptile stability stabilizers. Due to the fact that the car does not fall on the side, the tires always occupy the optimal position relative to the roadway, as a result, the behavior in the turns is more reliable, and the speed of passage is higher. PDCC intervention is always adequate to the speed of the bend. It is interesting that the hydraulic cylinders in the turn are loaded with stabilizers even with some advancing. At high speeds with rectilinear motion, the hydraulic cylinders almost completely bloom, this is necessary to ensure the best comfort, so the vibrations of the wheels are less transmitted to the body and wheels of another side.

But if earlier the rear axle rolled everyone (I almost managed to take the steering wheel, I slightly overdo it with gas at the exit of the turn and hello, a turn), now everything is different. Car physics is different, the front axle is loaded more. And the pendulum, in the form of a power unit hanging behind the rear axle, decreased. Hence the character of the seventh generation is less obstinate. And it is right. So safer both on the track and on the slippery snowy road. Is it not from here a decrease in the circle of a circle on Nurburgring by 14 seconds compared to the previous generation? I want to devour the turns again and again. But it's time to cool ...

The more flexible character was still due to control of the traction vector on the rear axle. On versions with a mechanical box, there is a self -blocking differential PTV (Porsche Torque Vectoring), it provides a degree of blocking 26% under the thrust, and 22% when discharging gas.

By the way, it seemed that versions with a mechanical box and a mechanical PTV self -block under gas are more willing to go in a skid than variations with PDK and more advanced PTV Plus. I transplant into Carrera S with ceramic brakes. Wow! The steering wheel drive is easier, more pleasant and noticeably informative! Later, on mountain serpentines and autobahns it turned out that this version was, in addition, it was smoother. Strange, because the chassemers still said in Vaisakh that the settings of the chassis of the 911s are identical. Is there really such a difference that ceramic brake discs give? Yes. Exactly! The engineers confirmed my assumptions later at dinner: ceramics are not only more resilient in itself, it still significantly revives the steering wheel drive and makes Carrra more comfortable.

And what about the roof? In an unfolded state, even on our cars, which did not differ in high mileage (a maximum of 4000 kilometers), the door seals creaked in some places. Not deadly, but there is little pleasant. Without a tent, you can safely move at speeds up to 110 km/h. And even in +17OC a two -zone climate is enough for heating the riders. After the line at 110, even with a windproof screen raised in the cockpit, the wind begins to walk. The only thing I miss here is the hot air deflector to the neck, as, for example, Mercedes Slk.

In general, work on the new generation of Carrera was done considerable, and it was a success. Preserving the canons and family traits, the creators raised nine one one step higher. It has become clearer, more logical and faster. The main thing is that the posterior hole is now a little tamed for the sake of safety.
