Both were able to succeed in Peugeot 307 SW.The PEUGEOT 307 hatchback today goes to the birthday, and the title of the best car of the year is so pleasant, so obligates. What's next? Peugeot Firm found a very original compromise - preserving the body form traditional for the station wagon, it built more than a universal car.

The thrown back of the central seat turns into a table with many recesses for cans-but. If there is not enough space for the worship, you can use the tables leaning back from the backs of the front seats. But most importantly, all three chairs are easily folded and are separately taken out of the grooves, so that if desired, you can cure up to two cubic meters of luggage in the formed luggage compartment. A thing invented not even yesterday and used in many minivans, but we did not say the main thing. There are also seats in the trunk, and if desired, you can, for example, plant three passengers along the right side after another, and put a long load on the floor of the cabin along the left.
We must pay tribute to Peugeot for the fact that it did not cunning and in all advertising photographs placed exclusively children in the third row. Although, if necessary, an adult will sit here tall above the average - a special step is left for the feet, the chin lies comfortably on his knees, the back of the head rests on the ceiling, and the body is reliably recorded by a full -fledged three -point seat belt.
Leo and seven goats. Someone calculated that most European cars constantly carry one or two people, which, by the way, was counted on by those who came up with the Smart product. On Peugeot decided to go from the opposite - as an option you can order two additional seats and travel by 307 SW with the whole! If you have five children in your family. Or if you want to take grandparents with you. At the same time, luggage, probably, must be taken in the roof coffee.
Well, imagine that all passport seven people loaded into the car. So that passengers do not develop claustrophobia, the designers find a witty solution: almost half of the roof 307 SW is transparent; Panoramic glass, as it were, continues the frontal and covers the first two rows of seats. If you correctly configure the deflectors and turn on the blowing stronger, you can even imagine that you are going in a convertible. We will not smell the whole diesel fuel, so we will stop our choice on two gasoline versions. The two-liter motor, familiar to us on the hatchback, accelerates the car is not so briskly-after all, the extra and a half centner of dry weight makes itself felt. However, if you do not set a goal for every minute attacks, but simply overtake trucks on the oncoming lane, then the accelerated dynamics is enough. The engine 1.6 after a two -liter seems weak, but the responsibility for households, who were wearing two rows behind, should not configure the driver in an aggressive way. But in the turns, the station wagon costs stronger than the hatchback - the wheelbase increased by 100 mm affects and a modified suspension. We got both versions with mechanics, but if desired, the Peugeot 307 SW can be equipped with an automatic sectral type with the intriguing name Porsche Tiptronic System.
The engine in the cabin is not heard absolutely that, on the one hand, it is comfortable, on the other hand, with active driving, to better feel the car and catch speed, you have to either squint on a tachometer or beat on a gas pedal. But the wind is heard and even very, although this is characteristic of any machine with roof religions. And the removable rear seats put on the bumps - and after all, on our unimportant roads, the grooves of fasteners can get even more.
However, if you are such a grouse, you can wait until an ordinary 307th station wagon appears on the market-without panoramic glass and with an ordinary rear sofa. If not, then Peugeot 307 SW will appear in Russian dealers already in May. According to the latter, the car should cost only ten percent more expensive than the hatchback. And this means that the price of a station wagon with an engine of 1.6 can be about $ 17 thousand. If you divide into seven, you will not get so many.
